高等教育入学机会地域不公平是高等教育发展中非常重要的问题之一。在分省招生制度下,如何消除地域不公平成为政府的重要责任。随着教育扩展,地域不公平程度逐年下降。但是,实证分析发现,高等教育入学机会地域不公平仍然存在,而且不同层次高等教育均存在地域不公平。消除高等教育入学机会地域不公平仍然是今后高等教育发展的重要任务之一。
