Modeling and optimization of a large-scale urban energy-water nexus system with sufficient spatial resolutions is a complex challenge. By proper clustering technique, a large-scale problem could possibly be divided into small ones with high spatial resolution and accuracy. Existing literature tends to lower the complexity of large-scale urban energy system problem by accumulating demand profiles on the spatial dimension. This study proposes a flexible clustering approach based on density clustering method with combined index assessment process. The flexible approach considers not only the spatial dimensions but also the complementarity effect of different demand profile and control the computational time of system design and optimization. The approach can increase the clustering flexibility by providing more clustering options than conventional method, take advantages of complementarity effect to further improve the system economic performance and control the solving time in an acceptable range. The proposed approach is evaluated by a case study of a new business district in Shanghai, China with a proposed future energy-water nexus system. After three combined index assessment, 45 new clustering maps are generated by the flexible clustering approach and the final optimal solution obtained by the proposed approach can further obtain 6.74% cost savings compared with conventional clustering approach.
Objective To survey the prevalence and influence factors of impaired fasting glucose(IFG) in adults from the Jidong Community of Tangshan City. Methods Health persons(n=7950 including male 4152 and female 3798) were chosen from the Jidong Community of Tangshan City,and their height,weight,BMI(BMI=weight/ height2),waistline and blood pressure(BP) were detected. The level of plasma glucose was detected by using hexokinase method and blood fat(TG,TC,HDL-C and LDL-C) were detected by using enzymatic method. The risk factors of diabetes were analyzed by using Logistic regression analysis. Results There were totally 2264 cases(28.5%) of IFG. The prevalence of IFG increased as age increased,and IFG occurred earlier in the male than in the female. The increased age,BMI,BP,TC and TG were risk factors of IFG. Conclusion The indexes of weight,BP,plasma glucose and blood fat should be monitored early,periodically,normatively and continuously. If the abnormal is detected,intervention should be given the patients timely. When giving intervention,different sexes should be treated differently,especially for the male,who should be given earlier detections and interventions.
Objective To understand the current sub-health status and its influencing factors of some professional populations in Beijing so as to find out the high risk factors of the sub-healthy people and thus provide the evidence for formulating the effective measures for prevention. Methods A questionaire survey on sub-health in Comprehensive Evaluation,Diagnosis and Classification of China's Urban Population's Sub-health State was conducted among 1 000 people drowned from different professional fields in Xicheng district of Beijing.Then the results of different genders,ages,education levels and professionals were analyzed by the means of one-way ANOVA and t-test,and the influencing factors was analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. Results Among the subjects,women had higher total score of sub-health and scores in every dimensions than men(P0.05).The total sub-health score of people aged 40 and above was the highest(52.78±1.28),and the total sub-health score of those in teaching staff and medical staff was the highest among different professionals(53.70±0.84).Independent variables filtered by stepwise regression method showed that the risk factors of sub-health were competition for jobs and taking-in a work that was beyond one's own capability;while the protective factors were participating in physical exercises,intimate friends,and temporary relaxation during daytime work. Conclusion The high-risk population of sub-health is those aged 40 and above,especially women.The factors of work and social environment are the important ones to lead to sub-health.It is suggested that this group of people should be given health education to adjust their styles of work,life and behavior manners,and thus preventing sub-health and stopping development of diseases.
