Objective To describe the AIDS epidemic and characteristics of high-risk behavior groups in Shaanxi province.Methods According to the protocol of the national HIV/AIDS sentinel surveillance,a questionnaire survey and serological surveillance were conducted among drug users(DUs),men who have sex with men(MSM),female sex workers(FSW) and male clients to STD clinics (STD clients) from 2011 to 2015,and recent HIV infections were calculated with BED-CEIA.Results The AIDS related knowledge rates among the high-risk groups in 2015 were 92.3％ (DUs),92.5％ (MSM),93.2％ (FSW),and 92.1％ (STD clients).The rates of those receiving intervention services were 86.8％ (DUs),96.6％ (MSM),90.0％ (FSW),and 67.1％ (STD clients).The positive rates of HIV antibodies were 0.4％ (DUs),5.2％ (MSM),0.0％ (FSW),and 0.9％ (STD clients).3.2％ of DUs had needle sharing in the last month.62.2％ of MSM had consistent condom use in anal sex in the last 6 months.63.5％ of FSW had consistent condom use in commercial sex during the last month.Conclusion The AIDS epidemic is not optimistic,as the risk factors of HIV infection still exist.MSM is the key group having more risks to be infected with HIV.STD group has a high rate of HIV positive.It is suggested that the AIDS related education and behavioral intervention should be strengthened.
