OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of auricular stimulation in cavum conchae on the glycemic control for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. METHODS:Seventy-one cases were treated with auricular electrical stimulator in the cavum choncha for 30 min, once daily for consecutive 3 months. The changes on the fasting plasma glucose (FBG), 2-h postprandial blood glucose after a 75 g oral glucose load (P2BG), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (SCr), total cholesterol (TC) and aspartate transaminase (AST) were compared before and after the treatment. RESULTS:The level of the HbA1c was significantly decreased (P<0.05), and there were also statistically significant decreases in BUN, SCr, TC and AST after the treatment (P<0.05). A few patients (n=7) reduced the dose of the hypoglycemic agents in response to repeated hypoglycemia during the treatment. CONCLUSION:The stimulation in the cavum conchae of patients with types 2 diabetes mellitus may help decrease HbA1c, BUN, SCr, TC and AST, and may be an effective treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Objective: The purpose of this paper is to investigate that stimulating the patient's cavum conchae can regulate glycosylated hemoglobin( HbA1c) of patients with diabetes. Methods: Sixty-four patients with type2 diabetes were treated by stimulating cavum conchae with auricular acupuncture for three months. Whole blood samples were collected and detected the level of HbA1c before and after treatment. Results: The results were analyzed after three-month treatment. HbA1c decreased significantly( P < 0. 05). Conclusion: The results show that stimulating the cavum conchae of patients has a significant hypoglycemic effect.
Objective To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation on slow transit constipation(STC) and its influence on colonic motility.Method Sixty patients diagnosed definitely with STC were randomly allocated to two groups,the treatment(Han’s acupoint nerve stimulator) group of 30 cases and the control(mosapride citrate) group of 30 cases.A comparative observation was carried out.Result There was a significant pre-/post-treatment difference in both groups(P<0.01).The effect was better in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation has a marked therapeutic effect on STC.
OBJECTIVETo explore the intervention effect of the auricular stimulator in the cavum concha for diabetes.METHODSForty-five cases were treated with auricular simulator in the cavum concha for 30 min, once daily for consecutive 3 months. The changes of the fasting plasma glucose (FBG), blood glucose load after 2-hour 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (P2 BG)and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) were compared before and after treatment.RESULTSThe level of the HbA1c was obviously decreased (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), and there were also statistically significant differences in FBG and P2 BG after the treatment (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).CONCLUSIONWith the auricular stimulator, the stimulation in the cavum concha is benefit for the improvement of HbA1c of the diabetes.
目的:观察温针灸对尿道综合征患者主要症状的影响及疗效.方法:将尿道综合征患者随机分为治疗组30例和对照组20例.治疗组采用温针灸治疗,对照组采用口服西药治疗.结果:两组总有效率有明显差异(P<0.05)结论:温针灸治疗尿道综合征疗效明显优于西药.
目的:观察电针加微波治疗痔疮的临床疗效.方法:将50例痔疮患者随机分为治疗组25例和对照组25例.治疗组:电针加微波治疗:对照组:马应龙麝香痔疮膏治疗,并进行对照观察.结果:两组治疗前后差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),治疗组优于对照组.结论:电针加微波治疗痔疮疗效显著.
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Han's acupoint nerve stimulator in treating slow transit constipation (STC). Methods Forty-eight patients diagnosed exactly with STC were randomly allocated to two groups, a treatment group of 24 cases (treated with Han's acupoint nerve stimulator) and a control group of 24 cases (treated with mosapride citrate). The therapeutic effects were compared. Results Both the fecal characteristic score and the weekly number of completely spontaneous defecation increased in the two groups after treatment as compared with before treatment (P<0.01) and the effect was better in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). The total efficacy rate was higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Han's acupoint nerve stimulator has a marked therapeutic effect on STC.
Object:To observe the therapeutic effect of transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation in slow transit constipation.Methods:Sixty cases of STC patients were divided into two groups randomly:treatment group (n=30,treated with Hans Acupoint Nerve Stimulation) and control group (n=30,treated with west medicine) and control observation was carried out.Results:There was a significant difference between treatment group and control group (P0.05).Conclusion:Transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation has a noticeable effect on slow transit constipation.
目的:观察针灸治疗周围性面瘫的临床疗效。方法:运用针灸方法治疗周围性面瘫35例,取穴百会、头针运动区、攒竹、丝竹空、四白、翳风、迎香、地仓、下关、颊车、合谷。结果:治疗35例患者中,治愈29例,有效6例,总有效率达100%。结论:针灸治疗周围性面瘫,效果显著,值得临床推广。
