My research aims to study the mechanisms of cell-cell communication by quorum sensing in bacteria that regulate many phenotypes and virulence factors, such as biofilm formation. In addition, search for inhibitors of these mechanisms in several sources, such as plants, foods, and drugs already approved by official agencies by in silico tools (molecular docking) and validated by in vitro experiments.
