个人简介
Georgios Salavasidis received the B.Sc./M.Sc. degree (integrated five-year programme) in electrical and computer engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in marine robotics and underwater localization from the University of Southampton (joint doctoral programme with the National Oceanography Centre), Southampton, U.K., in 2019.
He is currently a Robotics Research Engineer with the Marine Autonomous Robotic Systems (MARS) group, National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, U.K. His research interests include the entire perception-action-learning loop of autonomous systems, with a particular focus on long-range robot (glider/AUV) navigation under the polar sea ice.
