个人简介
Dr. Hawi Debelo Is a scientist at International Flavors and Fragances. At the time of the project, she was a postdoctoral fellow conducting research at North Carolina State University, Plants for Human Health Institute. Her research explores the stability, bioavailability and metabolism of carotenoids and phenolics from different food matrices. Her work also involves developing and establishing analytical instrument methodologies for the identification and characterization of a wide variety of phytochemicals and their metabolites from plant materials and biological samples. Additionally, she investigates the impact of food processing on phytochemical-macro/micronutrient interaction that may modify the delivery of target nutrients.
