Jeff Feasel received the B.S. degree in computer science from the University of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, and the M.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he is currently a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science.
His current work is in developing treadmill-based virtual locomotion interfaces for training and clinical applications. Previous work has involved the development of sensors, human interface devices, 3D interaction techniques, and automated evaluation of training performance. He has developed several novel locomotion interfaces, including walking-in-place, joystick, and treadmill-based locomotion. He works with the Effective Virtual Environments research group at UNC Chapel Hill and collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Human Movement Sciences Laboratory.
