个人简介
I currently study gap junction channels in glia. Within the fields of neuroscience and gap junction biology, my research focuses on post-translational modifications affecting channel function, the macromolecular gap junction Nexus complex, cell polarity (astrocyte endfeet), tissue physiology and in silico modelling . These different levels of experimentation are all aimed at understanding how gap junctions and glia contribute to healthy brain function and how they change in disease conditions.
