From May 2012 to Aug. 2012, I was a research intern at the Core Location team under iOS Department at Apple, and I presented my project to SVP Scott Forstall. From Sep. 2012 to Aug. 2013, I did one year PhD study at Computer Science department at Stony Brook University under the supervision of Prof. Alex Berg, then I moved with him back to UNC Chapel Hill in Aug. 2013. I did a great internship at Google Mountain View in 2014 summer. Our team GoogLeNet won the classification and detection challenge in ILSVRC2014. My research speciality is computer vision. The main focus of my current research include:
Abrige the semantic gap of image understanding with deep neural networks
Recognize and detect objects from large scale image and video dataset
