The ligand 2-((E)-((Z)-3-(((2-hydroxyethyl)amino)methylene)-4-oxocyclohexa-1,5-dien-1-yl)diazenyl)benzoic acid (H3L) was synthesized and structurally characterized for the first time. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies confirmed that H3L adopts a stable azo-enamine tautomeric form in the solid state stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The corresponding polymeric triphenyltin(iv) complex [Ph3Sn(iv)H2L] (1) was also synthesized and characterized by FTIR, multinuclear NMR, and X-ray crystallography. Structural analysis revealed a five-coordinate distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry around the Sn(iv) center. Topological analysis of both structures highlighted distinct hydrogen-bonded and valence-bonded network topologies (2C1 and sql types, respectively), underscoring supramolecular structural features. In vitro alpha-glucosidase inhibition studies demonstrated that H3L exhibits strong inhibitory activity, particularly in DMSO (79.36%, IC50 approximate to 26.8 & micro;g mL-1), outperforming the standard inhibitor acarbose, while complex 1 showed negligible inhibition. Molecular docking against alpha-glucosidase (PDB ID: 5ZCB) supported these findings, showing that H3L exhibits a more favorable binding affinity (MolDock score: -87.92 kcal mol-1) and a stronger interaction profile than acarbose. These results highlight the potential of H3L as a promising lead compound for the development of alpha-glucosidase inhibitors.
The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically reshaped the digital ecosystem, resulting in a notable surge in cybercrime across the globe. This study focuses on the state of Tripura in northeastern India to analyze the impact of the pandemic on cybercrime incidents in the region. The research investigates the underlying factors contributing to the escalation of cybercrime during the pandemic, examines the operational patterns of cybercriminal activities, and compares trends in cybercrime before and during the COVID-19 period. Adopting a mixed-method approach that incorporates data from law enforcement records, interviews, and inputs from key stakeholders, the study identifies key drivers such as increased internet penetration, low levels of cyber awareness, and inadequate cybersecurity infrastructure. The findings highlight a marked rise in cybercrime cases during the pandemic in Tripura, with phishing, online fraud, and identity theft emerging as the most prevalent threats. The study concludes with a set of actionable recommendations to mitigate future risks, including the implementation of robust cyber awareness programs, the strengthening of cybersecurity practices among individuals and organizations, and the promotion of coordinated efforts among law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, intermediaries, government bodies, and financial institutions to foster a more secure digital environment in Tripura. This study also includes the statistical analysis between different data sets and the analysis by regression line for the cybercrime trends study.
This paper aims to establish a foundation for the concepts of pairwise We introduce bicomplex valued multiplicative metric spaces in this study. We have updated the general background of bicomplex valued metric space and illustrated several well-known fixed point results in our study of complete bicomplex valued multiplicative metric space. Consequently, we have acquired some new findings concerning the complete multiplicative metric spaces of bicomplex values. We looked into fixed points in the bicomplex valued multiplicative metric space using the well-known Cauchy criteria Banach and Kannan contraction. Moreover, we give sufficient requirements for the common fixed point of a pair of contractive mappings in bicomplex valued multiplicative metric spaces. We also present several non-trivial cases to support the accuracy of our established findings.
A new octahedral Ni(III) complex, [Ni(L)(L-T)]center dot 2DMSO center dot 2.5H(2)O (1), has been synthesized and thoroughly characterized by spectroscopic methods and single-crystal X-ray analysis, where HL and HLT represent two tautomeric forms of the tridentate ligand, 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehydethiosemicarbazone (HL). In complex 1, two deprotonated ligand molecules (L and LT) coordinate to the Ni(III) center: one acts as a mononegative species, while the other functions as a binegative species, facilitated by thione-thiol tautomerism. The +3-oxidation state of nickel was conclusively verified using single-crystal X-ray analysis, Bond Valence Sum (BVS) calculations, Xray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations. Moreover, cytotoxic potential of complex 1 was evaluated towards Dalton's Lymphoma (DL) cells, demonstrating significant anticancer properties. Further, cytotoxicity studies on normal peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) indicated a favourable safety profile. Furthermore, molecular docking analyses revealed potential interactions between complex 1 and mouse tumor necrosis factor, suggesting a plausible mechanism of action. This study expands the chemistry of high-valent nickel complexes and provides the first evidence of cytotoxic activity for a Ni(III) species, highlighting its potential in therapeutic applications.
This paper access how heuristic biases affect real estate investment decisions in Agartala Smart City. The study investigates the effect of heuristics bias using survey data from investors using regression analyses. The results depicts that heuristic bias have a significant impact on investment decision and investors often rely more on cognitive shortcuts than on logical reasoning. In order to have sustainable real estate investment decisions, the study highlights the need of more transparency and investor awareness. The findings add to existing knowledge on behavioral finance in the context of developing smart cities like Agartala.
