The article discusses the complex issues of prolonging the active work of employees in the nuclear industry. It is shown that when organizing measures to improve the level of medical care and social security, employees in this industry are an active labor resource. At the same time, a balance between personal and state economic interests is possible.
In this panel, we follow up on conversations that have been happening around hybrid environments, conducted in open sessions by the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI) Executive Committee (EC), at SIGs at CHI 2022 and CHI 2023 and on twitter, facebook, medium and similar media. The COVID-19 pandemic led to a shift to virtual conferences. As we go back to in-person events, it is important to reflect on what we have learned about these configurations, the types of events we desire, and how hybrid intersects with SIGCHI values such as increased accessibility, sustainability and inclusion. With this panel, we expect to engage the CSCW community in the discussion of what lies beyond the current in-person format, the possibilities created by the hybrid and what other innovations might further these values.
The objective is to research the exogenous factors of the crude mortality rate in Kyrgyzstan and to evaluate their immediate influence on the dependent variable using the multiple factor correlation and regression analysis method. According to calculations the average per capita income (X3) and the public expenditures on environment (X9) have the largest contribution in the reduction of mortality in Kyrgyzstan. Practical implications of the calculations include a recommendation for the population development programs in Kyrgyzstan to forecast the reduction of crude mortality by 0.27% (with the average annual per capita income growth of 1%) and by 0.14% (with the growth of public expenditures on environment by 1%). The discussed methodology can be used to determine the adequate contribution of exogenous factors to the dependent variable in a multiple linear regression relationship.
Nowadays, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is essential for each consumer goods company. The company needs to improve environmental concerns to the society and enhance the corporate reputation. CSR is a crucial program to the interests of its customers, shareholders, and the ecological consequences of the business activities. CSR can play an essential role in relationships, enhancing customers' trust. This study analyzes customer perception of CSR and trust. The conceptual framework in this study has two mediating variables, including corporate reputation and word of mouth on CSR on customer trust. A causal survey design and by using quantitative method. The respondents were 160 consumers who knew the CSR programs of a consumer goods company. Then, data analysis used structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses. CSR negatively affects customer trust. Then, CSR positively influences corporate reputation and word of mouth. Moreover, this research found that reputation has a positive impact on word of mouth and trust. On behalf, the mediating effect of importance and word of mouth also positively impacts CSR and consumer trust. Thus, reputation and word of mouth could enhance suppliers' power and connect buyers.
Due to the widespread introduction of a risk-based approach to doing business, effective organization and control of risk management digitalization processes is of great scientific and practical importance. One of the priority tasks is the search for effective digital risk management tools, their evaluation and optimization of choice. The purpose of the article is to study the issues of transformation of risk management tools and to develop methodology for assessing the feasibility of implementing risk management software at enterprises. The study used methods of system, factor and comparative analysis; structural, historical and logical approaches; methods of expert assessments, modeling. The article clarifies the concept of "digitalization of risk management", identifies key approaches to the digital transformation of risk management, identifies its main trends and advantages, and establishes the basic prerequisites for the active digitalization of risk management. The main factors of the positive and negative impact of digitalization of risk management, the main problems of the introduction of special software are identified. The author's classification of key digital solutions in the field of risk management is presented. The main ratings of programs in the field of risk management are considered. It is proposed to include the parameters "cost, architecture, integration, functions, users, opportunities for social interaction and security" in the risk management software rating system. The conducted research allowed us to confirm the hypothesis that the effectiveness of software implementation depends not only on the characteristics of the programs themselves, but also on the degree of readiness of the enterprise (in terms of the requirements of the internal and external environment) for their implementation. As a result, we received a methodology for assessing the feasibility of implementing risk management programs (IRM solutions), based on an assessment of the software itself, an assessment of the organization's readiness for implementation, and consideration of environmental factors. This approach allows us to comprehensively explore the possibilities of successful implementation of risk management software, accelerate and improve the efficiency of the decision-making process for choosing the necessary software, identify areas for improving the risk management system, as well as open up ways to sustainably increase the potential of the enterprise. The research contributes to the development of both the theory and practice of risk management, and to the development of a system for assessing the digital transformation of organizations.
