Traditionally, in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, camel milk is consumed regularly to manage diabetes, and drinking it lowers the incidence of diabetes. Since fresh camel milk is not available to all people globally, this study aimed to evaluate the antidiabetic effects of camel milk powder in diabetic patients. Camel milk has immune-stimulatory properties on the beta-cells of the pancreas, enhanced secretion of insulin, and decreased insulin resistance in diabetic subjects[1] Aim Evaluation of Camel milk in Type 1 Diabetes: Blood parameters prospective study Methods: In this trial, 6 type 1 diabetic cases who had been on insulin for the last few years were selected and given 15-gram camel milk powder/day, equivalent to about 500 mL of camel milk, twice daily in divided doses for 3 months. Patients were not on any other medications except insulin or dietary regimens or exercises at least one month before the trial. Results The results showed a significant decrease in fasting and postprandial blood Glucose in patients fed camel milk powder, from 113 to 98 mg/dL (P = 0.001) and from 142 to 131 mg/dL (P = 0.02), respectively, after 3 months of taking camel milk powder. The LDL decreased significantly from 95 to 73 mg/dL(P0.02). Thus, camel milk powder may exhibit antidiabetic activity in patients with diabetes and improve cardiovascular health and other complications. The results also showed that the average required insulin dose before consuming camel milk powder was 42 ± 5 u/day, gradually decreasing to 30 ± 6 u/day (P = 0.02) three months after taking camel milk powder.

Methods and Material: A Community-based cross-sectional study was conducted in adult subjects residing in Chanai village from Maharashtra who have had a history of COVID-19 and have passed more than 3 months since the diagnosis from May 2022 to June 2022. The interview of the study participants was conducted with the help of a pre-designed, semi-structured questionnaire for data collection. Statistical Analysis: Data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2010, Open EPI-Info version 3.01 updated on 2013/04/06. Data was presented in tables, graphical format, frequencies and percentages and the statistical association was shown using the chi- square test. Results: The majority of participants were males (59%), from 19 to 39 years of age group (57%), having fever as presenting symptom (83%), with mild COVID (13%), and required hospitalization (53%). Long COVID was associated with the elderly age group, male sex (27.1%), severe COVID presentation (88.2%) after 12 weeks, and those required intubation (80%). Persistent adenoid is a common condition that affects many children and adults. This can cause breathing difficulties, snoring, and other respiratory problems. The condition can also affect the development of the facial structure and cause abnormal growth of the jaw and teeth. The study aimed to investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics of persistent adenoid and its secondary effects. A total of 64 patients with adenoid hypertrophy were included in the study, and they were evaluated through various clinical and pathological examinations. Nasal obstruction was present in almost all cases. Ethmoid nasal polyps were seen in 51.6% of participants. The results showed that persistent adenoid can lead to various secondary effects on the respiratory system, including Eustachian tube defect and otitis media in 20.3% of cases. The study highlights the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment of persistent adenoid to prevent its secondary effects.
