Competitiveness was evaluated based on customer perceptions. A quantitative methodology was adopted, using questionnaires to collect data from 110 beauty salon owners or managers in the Jakarta region. The collected data were then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling, employing the Partial Least Squares method (SmartPLS 4). The findings indicate that professional knowledge has a significant positive impact on competitiveness compared to other businesses, and its influence is crucial for shaping customer perspectives. However, operational management competencies did not demonstrate a substantial impact on enhancing the company's competitiveness. Conversely, relationship skills competencies and practical experience significantly and positively influence competitiveness, with practical experience emerging as the strongest factor. Further studies are suggested to reconsider the use of operational management competencies as a variable or replace them with more relevant factors that directly shape customer perceptions and enhance efficiency to build a strong salon competitiveness. Furthermore, an emphasis on strategies focused on differentiation and agility of service providers in salons is crucial in responding to competition in the market share of beauty service providers, especially salons.
The rapid growth of Indonesia’s coffee industry in major urban areas has shifted coffee consumption from a purely functional activity toward an experiential practice shaped by brand identity and social media communication. This study aims to elucidate the psychological mechanisms linking social media marketing (SMM) and brand image (BI) to purchasing decisions (PD) for Kopi Kenangan on Instagram by positioning emotional attachment (EA) as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through an online survey of Kopi Kenangan consumers who actively use Instagram and have been exposed to the brand’s digital content. The data were measured using a Likert scale and analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine the structural relationships among the constructs. The findings reveal that SMM → EA is not significant, SMM → PD is not significant, BI → EA is significant, EA → PD is significant, and BI → EA → PD is significant. Conceptually, the findings highlight that digital marketing exposure does not automatically translate into purchasing behavior without the support of a strong brand image and meaningful emotional attachment. Managerial implications emphasize the importance of maintaining product quality consistency, managing digital reputation, and developing storytelling and experience-based content to strengthen emotional bonding. The study is limited by its focus on a single brand and platform, as well as the use of cross-sectional survey data. Future research is encouraged to extend the analysis to multiple platforms, incorporate additional psychological constructs, and adopt longitudinal or mixed-method approaches to better capture emotional dynamics and the impact of viral campaigns. This study contributes to consumer behavior literature by clarifying conditions under which engagement remains at the awareness level and offering practical insights into converting digital interaction into loyalty and repeat purchasing behavior.
This study examines the possibility of financial hardship for Indonesian real estate and property firms due to the sector's poor performance, which is seen in its falling GDP contribution, inconsistent gains in the Residential Property Price Index with sales, and falling profits. The many widely used financial distress prediction models provide different results and varying levels of accuracy, making it unclear which model best fits the sector between 2021 and 2024. This study seeks to determine the best model among Altman, Grover, Zmijewski, and Springate for forecasting financial hardship. On the IDX, 92 listed businesses in the real estate and property sector were included in a sample of 69 firms using a quantitative-descriptive method with deliberate sampling. The information was analyzed using SPSS 27 and the Kruskal-Wallis one-way ANOVA. The accuracy of the models varied greatly; Springate's was 46.38%, Zmijewski's was 75.36%, Altman's was 76.81%, and Grover's was 82.61%. The Grover model is the most accurate and precise model that should be used as an early warning system to aid in making decisions that will help avert financial challenges.

The aim of this research is to explore the role of Analytical Hierarchy Process method in prioritizing three alternative tourism development areas, namely Likupang, Morotai Island, and Tanjung Kelayang. These three alternatives were selected from 10 Priority Tourism Destinations established by the Indonesia Ministry of Tourism. There are three criteria used as considerations in prioritizing the three alternative tourism areas, they are: Economic Benefits, Availability of Infrastructure, Tourist Destination Attractions, Social and Environmental Issues. These criteria were selected based on various previous research results. Meanwhile, the information regarding each criteria was obtained from the Ministry of Tourism. Furthermore, to increase objectivity, relative weights among criteria is obtained through questionnaire to eight respondents whose background are practitioner and academician. All information was processed into the Original Matrix and Adjusted Matrix with relative assessment weights based on the questionnaire results. After that, the Consistency Ratio was calculated, which result is less than 0,1. The calculation results indicate that Likupang become the first priority as a location for tourism area development. However, this research recommend that other locations should be developed as well but with a lower priority, considering that the economic benefits of tourism for Likupang are still less than that of the other two alternative areas.

These findings highlight the strategic importance of digital content marketing that aligns with the innovative traits of target audiences. Practical implications suggest that businesses, especially in emerging tourism sectors, should optimize vWOM as a persuasive communication tool to accelerate market innovation adoption.
Firm value, often proxied by Price-to-Book Value (PBV), reflects market confidence in future performance. In Indonesia’s non-cyclical sector—covering consumer staples, healthcare, and utilities—PBV has experienced volatility between 2020–2024, despite the sector’s traditionally stable nature. This study investigates whether financial indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), and firm size have a stronger impact on PBV than non-financial factors like Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. Using purposive sampling, 14 listed firms (70 firm-year observations) were analyzed through panel regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), selected via the Hausman test. The findings indicate that DER has a significant positive effect on PBV, underscoring the importance of capital structure in driving firm valuation. Conversely, ESG score, ROA, and firm size show no significant influence, suggesting that investors in non-cyclical industries continue to prioritize leverage over sustainability or profitability indicators. The study recommends that firms strengthen capital structure management and improve disclosure quality to ensure sustainability efforts are more effectively integrated into valuation. Limitations include a small sample, reliance on secondary ESG data, and a short observation period, suggesting future studies should expand both scope and variables.

The development of financial performance analysis, sustainable finance, and risk management in Indonesia has put pressure on companies to improve their social responsibility. This study aims to look at the correlation between CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), with financial performance, and risk as a mediator in companies in the IDX energy sector whose business activities are closely related to the environment. This research is descriptive quantitative with the help of SMART-PLS 4.0.9.9 as a statistical tool to process panel data from 27 samples of companies in the IDX energy sector during 2021-2023 with a total of 81 observations. KLD (Kinder, Lydenberg, and Domini's) Measurement is used as a proxy for CSR. Meanwhile, financial performance is measured by 2 approaches, namely accounting based measures and market based measures. The risk variable is measured based on the standard deviation of the daily stock return. This study found that CSR has a significant relationship with the company's financial performance. However, there is no significant relationship between CSR and risk, risk and financial performance, and risk as a mediating variable, in companies in the energy sector on the IDX 2021-2023. The results of this study indicate that CSR can contribute to improving the company's financial performance, so stakeholders can pay attention to this aspect. The limited research time covering 3 years of observation will limit data coverage and not reflect long-term trends. In addition, the proxies used have limitations in interpreting the results as a whole. Future research is expected to develop this study in reviewing the influence of both the energy sector and other sectors.
