To deepen understanding of the mechanisms influencing teachers' engagement in online professional discussions, this study adopts a configurational approach to explore 56 discussion cases within a three-year teachers' online professional learning community from a complex dynamic perspective. It considers the combined influence of various discussion features - including discussion time, design, and facilitation - through two rounds of crisp-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (csQCA). Separate analysis was conducted for teachers' individual participation and group interaction. After calculating necessity, creating truth table, verifying robustness, examining interactive effects, and explaining the configurations, we identify significant nuanced differences in the formation mechanisms of highly completed discussions versus highly interactive discussions. Highly completed discussions exhibit a periodic pattern and high authenticity, whereas highly interactive discussions show a periodic yet decreasing pattern and high collaboration levels. This periodicity in both individual learning and social learning reflects teachers' recurring work-learning conflict and burnout. Consequently, designing and scheduling online discussions needs to take time factors into consideration. Furthermore, well-designed discussion prompts and sufficient facilitation collectively enhance teachers' engagement in discussions within online professional learning communities, especially that practice-oriented design optimizes teachers' individual participation, while clear collaborative requirements strengthen teachers' group interaction.
Given the changing nature of literacy, it is critical to investigate how learners communicate using the multimodal affordances of digital platforms. Guided by metafunctions of Systemic Functional Linguistics, this study developed a multimodal analytical framework to quantify multimodal composing with indicators of functional meaning to evaluate students' multimodal literacy practices from an overall perspective. Based on a high school digital literacy SPOC (Small Private Online Course), this study adopted a mixed-method approach to profile students' multimodal posting and examine teachers' and students' perceptions. The empirical findings included that: (1) Five profiles were identified based on students' ideational, interpersonal, and textual meaning differences: academic posters, sensational posters, visual posters, all-round posters, and perfunctory posters. Academic posters viewed multimodal posting as a presentation of research findings; sensational posters viewed multimodal posting as a connection with classmates; visual posters valued the formal beauty of multimodal posts; all-round posters remixed the ideational, interpersonal, and textual functions of multimodal posting; perfunctory posters viewed multimodal posting as a have-to-do task. (2) Teachers underestimated multimodal posting's interpersonal meaning that students valued. The SFL-based multimodal analytical framework and empirical findings provide implications for explicitly evaluating and guiding students' multimodal composition in digital environments.

Objective:To evaluate the potential activitives of Chinese quince seed by studing the antioxidant activity and growth inhibition for HepG2 cells.Method:Chinese quince seed wereultrasound extracted by 80% ethanol. The antioxidant activities of then-butanol,ethyl acetate and water factions from the ethanol extractof seeds were assessed by ORAC,electrochemical and cellular oxidative stressmethod. The content of total phenolics and total flavonoids were detected by Folin-Ciocalteu's reagent method and NaNO 2-AlCl 3 colorimetric method.MTT was used to observe cell growth inhibition effect of three extracts. Results:Ethyl acetate extract had a better antioxidant capacity as well as the highest content of total phenolics and total flavonoids, thecontent of which were(1012.24±79.16) mg/100 g and(267.65±20.07) mg/g respectively. We presume that phenolics and flavonoids are the major antioxidants in Chinese quince seed.Inthe aspect of growth inhibition of HepG2 cells, the IC 50 of n-butanol extract was 344.8 μg/mL.Conclusion:Chinese quince seed extract not only has strong antioxidant activitives but also inhibited the growth of HepG2 cells. The results provided strong envidence for the development of antioxidant and anticancerproducts by Chinese quince seed.
After comparison of three popular art and physical examination system, we found that the existing system has several drawbacks, for example single means of communication, poor mobility, poor scalability, poor standardization etc. In order to meet the enrollment needs of the art and physical universities, it is necessary for us to use current advanced information technology to transform the existing art and physical examination system. New system should have the characteristics of wireless and standardization, this article describes the building ideas and block diagram of the system, discusses the key technologies in the system build process.
The purpose of the present work is to study the pancreatic lipase inhibitory effects of different subfractions (n-hexane, ethyl acetate (EA), n-butanol, and water) from ethanol extracts of nonfermented and fungi-fermented oats and to delineate the interactions of three primary phenolic acids in the EA subfractions. The EA subfraction showed the highest inhibitory effect on pancreatic lipase activity at 1.5 mg/mL compared to the other subfractions, regardless of whether the oats were fermented. Meanwhile, both of the EA subfractions of two fungi-fermented oats demonstrated more effective inhibitory activity than that of nonfermented oats. A positive correlation between the total phenolics content and inhibitory activity was found. The inhibitory ability of the EA subfraction from nonfermented or fermented oats also displayed a dose-dependent effect. The standards of caffeic, ferulic, and p-coumaric acids, mainly included in EA subfractions of fermented oats, also displayed a dose-dependent inhibitory effect. A synergistic effect of each binary combination of p-coumaric, ferulic, and caffeic acids was observed, especially at 150.0 μg/mL. Those results indicate that fungi-fermented oats have a more effective inhibitory ability on pancreatic lipase and polyphenols may be the most effective component and could be potentially used for dietary therapy of obesity.
The scavenging activities of 9 common flavonoid compounds against reactive oxygen species(ROS) such as hydrogen peroxide(H2O2),superoxide anion ion radicals(O2-·) and peroxynitrite radicals(ONOO-·) were assayed in vitro. Also, their first-order dissociation constants were determined spectrophotonmtrically.Of the investigated flavonoid compounds, flavonols had the strongest scavenging activity against three kinds of ROS,and flavanones and isoflavones had no obvious scavenging effect on them.A significant negative correlation was achieved between the scavenging activities against O2-· and ONOO-·and first-order dissociation constants of the investigated flavonoids.
