Electric motor noise is one of the most key parameters for its quality control and fault diagnosis.On the basis of wavelet packet filtering method,a noise testing method for electric motor was proposed.The A/D transformation function of PC sound card was used to gather noise signal.Wavelet packet filtering algorithm was used to eliminate the noise that is independent of the frequency of rotating and pick up the real vibration.Experiments demonstrates that the method is economic and suitable.
