Sediment deposition not only occupies the storage capacity, but also releases pollutants into the water body. In this study, the sediment distribution in the Tangpu reservoir has been investigated based on MIKE 21 software. The research results show that the sediment distribution is uneven in the reservoir. At the zone of the reservoir entrance, sediment deposition is not severe, and sediment erosion even occurs at sone places. In the centre of the reservoir there is significant sediments deposition, and the maximum simulated thickness of sediment deposition is about 30 cm, and the minimum thickness is about 12 cm, which is close to that of the dam front. Sediment sampling results are consistent with the simulation results. It means that the model can be used to simulate the sediment distribution along the Tangpu reservoir reasonably. The simulation results have some reference values for the control of internal source pollution in the Tangpu reservoir.
Objective To explore the species ,amounts ,dispersal variation of airborne pollens in urban dis-trict of Chengdu .Methods The investigation was completed in urban district of Chengdu from January 1 ,2011 to December 31 ,2011 .The pollens were collected by Durham gravity method and all kinds of pollens were identified and counted with microscope .Results There were various kinds of airborne pollens in atmosphere of the urban district of Chengdu throughout 2011 .The dispersal variation of airborne pollens leaded to two peaks ,the first peak occurred in March ,April ,May and June .The predominant pollens were Pine L .pollen ,Juglandaceae pollen and Rosaceae pollen .The second peak occurred in September and October ,and the predominant pollen was Com-positae pollen ,Chenopodiaceae pollen and Palmaceae pollen .Conclusion There were 20 species airborne pollens in atmosphere in urban district of Chengdu throughout 2011 .The dispersal variation of airborne pollens leaded to two peaks ,the first peak occurred in March ,April ,May and June ,and the predominant pollens were Pine L .pollen , Juglandaceae pollen and Rosaceae pollen .The second peak occurred in September and October ,and the predomi-nant pollen was Compositae pollen ,Chenopodiaceae pollen and Palmaceae pollen .Juglandaceae pollen is the unique pollen in Chengdu.
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of tacrolimus ointment and Intensive Moisturizing Cream containing prinsepia utilis royle oil,purslane extract in treating corticosteroid-dependent dermatitis. Methods A multicenter,randomized,open study was carried on. 64 patients with corticosteroid-dependent dermatitis were randomly divided into experimental and control group. Patients in experimental group were topically treated with Intensive Moisturizing Cream twice daily and 0.03% tacrolimus ointment once daily for 28 days,followed by Intensive Moisturizing Cream alone twice daily for additional 28 days. Patients in control group were topically treated with 0. 03% tacrolimus ointment once daily for 28 days. In addition to patients' self assessment of disease severity,the lesion score,TEWL value,stratum corneum water content and stratum corneum sebum content were measured on days 7,14,and 28. Results Compared to pretreatment,the lesion score in the experimental group decreased on days 7,14 and 28( P < 0. 05 for all time points). Compared to control group,the lesion score in the experimental group was significantly lower on day 28( P < 0. 05). In comparison with pretreatment,the TEWL value,sebum content and stratum corneum hydration in experimental group were significantly improved by day 28 after treatment( P < 0. 05). Additionally,stratum corneum water content in experimental group increased on 14 days after treatment( P < 0. 05). In comparison with controls,after 28 days of treatment TEWL in experimental group was lower( P < 0. 05),and stratum corneum water content was higher( P < 0. 05). Results of Self-assessment showed that patients in the experimental group felt dramatic improvement in skin smoothness,hydration,dryness,tightness,burning and itching.By 28 days after stopping treatment,the recurrent rates for experimental group and control group were 3. 7%and 27. 3% respectively in the control group. No adverse effects were observed during the study period.Conclusion The efficacy of Intensive Moisturizing Cream containing prinsepia utilis royle oil,purslane extract,plus 0. 03% tacrolimus ointment in treating corticosteroid-dependent dermatitis is superior to 0. 03%tacrolimus ointment alone. Intensive Moisturizing Cream alone could reduce recurrence of corticosteroid-dependent dermatitis and it is worth a try.
By using single-cross hybrid maize harvested at different times after pollination as experimental material,how different harvest times affect germination rate of maize seeds,activities of protective enzymes and the content of MDA were studied.The results showed that maize seeds harvested 40 days after pollination had the lowest germination rate and failed to meet the national standard rate(85%).Maize seeds harvested 45 to 60 days after pollination had germination rate of 89.7%to 97.3%,and seeds harvested after 55 days had the highest germination rate.During the process of germination,the activities of SOD,CAT and POD had a trend of increase.The seeds harvested 50,55 and 60 days after pollination had significantly higher activities of SOD,CAT and POD and the content of MDA was lower than that harvested after 40 and 45 days.The study suggested that the best harvest time of single-cross hybrids was 55 days after pollination.
