In 2008, China Digital Library for Visual Impairment (CDLVI), co-developed by National Library of China, Information Center of China Disabled Persons’Federation, and China Braille Publishing House was launched, which provides digital library services for people with visual impairment through accessible website design technology and other technologies, and acquires good social benefits. This papers analyzes CDLVI’s service features and results, introduces its cooperation with government, library community and social organizations, summarizes the existing problems in services, and proposes suggestions for future development.
