OBJECTIVE:This study aimed to explore the key genes, metabolites, and pathways that influence periodontitis pathogenesis by integrating transcriptomic and metabolomic studies.DESIGN:Gingival crevicular fluid samples from periodontitis patients and healthy controls were collected for liquid chromatography/tandem mass-based metabolomics. RNA-seq data for periodontitis and control samples were obtained from the GSE16134 dataset. Differential metabolites and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the two groups were then compared. Based on the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network module analysis, key module genes were selected from immune-related DEGs. Correlation and pathway enrichment analyses were performed for differential metabolites and key module genes. A multi-omics integrative analysis was performed using bioinformatic methods to construct a gene-metabolite-pathway network.RESULTS:From the metabolomics study, 146 differential metabolites were identified, which were mainly enriched in the pathways of purine metabolism and Adenosine triphosphate binding cassette transporters (ABC transporters). The GSE16134 dataset revealed 102 immune-related DEGs (458 upregulated and 264 downregulated genes), 33 of which may play core roles in the key modules of the PPI network and are involved in cytokine-related regulatory pathways. Through a multi-omics integrative analysis, a gene-metabolite-pathway network was constructed, including 28 genes (such as platelet derived growth factor D (PDGFD), neurturin (NRTN), and interleukin 2 receptor, gamma (IL2RG)); 47 metabolites (such as deoxyinosine); and 8 pathways (such as ABC transporters).CONCLUSION:PDGFD, NRTN, and IL2RG may be potential biomarkers of periodontitis and may affect disease progression by regulating deoxyinosine to participate in the ABC transporter pathway.
External apical root resorption is among the most common risks of orthodontic treatment, and it cannot be completely avoided and predicted. Risk factors causing orthodontic root resorption can generally be divided into patient- and treatment-related factors. Root resorption that occurs during orthodontic treatment is usually detected by radiographical examination. Mild or moderate root absorption usually does no obvious harm, but close attention is required. When severe root resorption occurs, it is generally recommended to suspend the treatment for 3 months for the cementum to be restored. To unify the risk factors of orthodontic root resorption and its clinical suggestions, we summarized the theoretical knowledge and clinical experience of more than 20 authoritative experts in orthodontics and related fields in China. After discussion and summarization, this consensus was made to provide reference for orthodontic clinical practice.
目的 调查了解当前江西省口腔科专业住院医师新型冠状病毒肺炎(简称"新冠肺炎")疫情知识、态度和行为,为培训基地日后开展健康宣教工作、提升培养质量提供数据支持和科学依据.方法 采取网络问卷方式对江西省口腔科专业住院医师进行调查,共收集有效问卷269份,计量资料采用方差分析和非参数检验,计数资料采用χ2检验.结果 调查显示269名住院医师疫情相关知识知晓平均得分为(6.80±1.77)分,已取得执业医师资格对象中,不同年级间疫情相关知识得分有差异(F=3.730,P=0.026),突发公共卫生事件的管理体系和处理流程为住院医师首位期望掌握的知识类别;70.63%的调查对象表示通过疫情增加了职业认同感,不同年级职业认知变化有差异(P<0.05);超过90%调查对象有戴口罩、勤洗手、向亲属科普防护知识等相关健康行为,86.25%调查对象每日查看确诊病例数1次及以上,不同年级间有差异(χ2=30.905,P<0.05).结论 江西省口腔科专业住院医师疫情相关知识知晓水平需进一步提升,信念及态度较好,相关健康行为积极.培训基地在掌握住院医师知识、态度和行为基础上,要促进健康教育,提高对心理状态摸查的重视,并完善住院医师规范化培训期间相关培养方案,助力提升江西省口腔科专业住院医师培养质量.
Compared with the maxillary facemask protraction device, the bone anchorage device can increase the extent of protraction of the maxilla and has better controls for the labial inclination of the maxillary anterior teeth in treating skeletal class Ⅲ malocclusion among adolescents. However, additional high-quality randomized controlled trials must be performed to verify the results.
PURPOSE:To investigate the level of attention and knowledge level of dental students in Jiangxi province during the epidemic period of COVID-19, and provide data support for optimizing the training program of dental professionals in the future.METHODS:Two thousand and sixty-five valid questionnaires were collected from stomatological colleges in Jiangxi province through internet. SPSS 20.0 software was used for statistical analysis, Chi-square test and binary logistic regression were used for single factor and multi factor analysis.RESULTS:According to the survey, 74.72% of dental students expressed their concern about the epidemic situation, and 75.93% expressed that they checked the number of confirmed cases in China once or more every day. Students with higher education background, licensed doctor certificate and better family status paid more attention to the epidemic period and frequently checked the information(P<0.05). The categories of information most concerned by all respondents was data such as the number of newly diagnosed patients and the number of cured cases, followed by the diagnosis and treatment of patients with COVID-19.The average score of knowledge about epidemic situation was 5.60±1.88. Analysis of influencing factors showed that the knowledge level of women was higher than that of men(OR=1.371,95%CI:1.143-1.644).Medical students from Hubei province had a good level of knowledge, high education, party members, and students with medical qualifications had a high level of knowledge about epidemic situation of COVID-19(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:The epidemic period of COVID-19 is a high concern among dental students in Jiangxi province , and the awareness rate of related knowledge is low. In order to improve the quality of dental personnel training, the medical colleges or school should strengthen the training of students' operations in the hospital, and add relevant courses of public health emergency in the training program.
Objective To study preparation technology of Fresh breath effervescent tablets.Methods The optimum molding technology was screened through single factor test such as disintegration time,quantity of producing foam,pH value and taste.Results The best preparation process was the optimum water extraction of Flos lonicerae and Hawthorn for 2 cycles,then inspissated and dried using lactose-mannitol(2∶1) and tea polyphenols,followed by pulverizing.Citric acid-tartaric acid(1.5∶1) and sodium bicarbonate were used as effervescent material,sodium bicarbonate as admixture,and CMS-Na was added by two steps.The effervescent tablets had good taste,suitable hardness,good hydros-copicity and valid disintegration time.Conclusion Our preparation procedure is stable and simple.
Objective:To simplify the process of dispensing common reagent such as phosphate buffer.Method:To make tablet of phosphate buffer,and compare the speciality and efficiency of phosphate buffer from tablet and that of phosphate buffer from separate reagents.Result: The two buffers have same speciality and efficiency.Conclusion: This studys provide basis for manufacturing tablet of phosphate buffer.
Objective:To explore early rehabilitation therapy of cerebral hemorrhage.Methods:Forty cases of intracerebral hemorrhage were randomly selected for group of stroke units(n=20)and control group(n=20).The group of stroke units was treated with an additional early rehabilitation except receiving route medicines as control group did.The NIHSS and ADL were evaluated in both groups after treatments.Results:There were significant differences of scores of NIHSS and ADL between the groups(P<0.05 or 0.01).Stroke units care mode had curative effects on patients with intracerebral hemorrhage superior to drug treatment.Conclusion:Early rehabilitation thrapy has positive impact in intracerbral hemorrhage and should be used in the disease.
