A study of strengthening shear capacity using basalt fiber reinforced polymer (BFRP) sheets for the reinforced concrete (RC) beam is proposed .Orthogonal test method is used and L9 (34 ) orthog-onal table is chosen .Nine specimens are designed and fabricated by considering four influencing fac-tors ,which are stirrup ratio ,striation width ,striation spacing and fiber sheet type .The results show that the shear capacity ,on average ,increases 34% by applying BFRP sheets on the beam ,and the shear capacity is 73% of that obtained by using CFRP .The shear capacity of the beam can be more improved as the fiber sheet striation is wider and the striation spacing is smaller .
The experimental research on the reinforced concrete columns strengthened with basalt fiber‐reinforced polymer(BFRP) under axial compression was carried out .Nine specimens were designed and made by using the orthogonal experiment method with choosing the orthogonal table of L9 (33 ) and taking into account three influencing factors ,namely the types of the FRP ,the layer number of FRP and the stirrup spacing .The research result shows that the bearing capacity of reinforced con‐crete columns strengthened with BFRP averagely improves 20% ,which is equivalent to 80% of that of carbon fiber‐reinforced polymer(CFRP) .The ultimate bearing capacity of the columns strengthened with FRP increases with the increase of FRP layers ,but there is no linear relationship between them . Before reaching 70% of the ultimate bearing capacity of the columns ,the constraint effect of fiber cloth on the columns is not significant .After this ,the constraint effect of fiber cloth increases ,dela‐ying the columns failure greatly .
针对钢筋混凝土梁,采用BFRP进行抗剪承载力加固研究,运用正交试验法,选择 L9(34)正交表,考虑配箍率、条带宽度、条带间距及纤维布种类4个因素,设计制作了9个试件。研究表明,BFRP加固后梁的抗剪承载力平均提高34%,是CFRP加固效果的73%;纤维布条带越宽、间距越小,梁的抗剪承载力提高得越多。
