Immune regulatory function of Echinacea purpurea extracts were evaluated. 270 1-day-old broilers were randomly divided into nine groups. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were detected to study the effects of the extracts on humoral immunity, cellularimmunity, and immune organs in broilers. The results showed that the importing Echinacea purpurea extracts and Continent Echinacea purpurea extracts could significantly increase the thymus index, bursal index, Newcastle disease antibody titer, leukocytes amounts, red cells amounts, hematocrit and antioxidant activities in broilers. The total effects of importing Echinacea purpurea extracts and Continent Echinacea purpurea extracts were better than Wan shining and transfer factor. The effects of Echinacea purpurea extracts were better than Cyclophosphamide and Cyclophosphamide + Continent Echinacea purpurea extracts. It is concluded that Echinacea purpurea extract had the significant improving immune regulatory function in broilers, and the effects of importing Echinacea purpurea extracts and Continent Echinacea purpurea extracts were better than domestic Echinacea purpurea extracts, Wan shining, transfer factor and Zizhuiyiduqing .

The extraction process of cichoric acid in Echinacea purpurea with ultrasonic wave was studied.The factors such as extraction time,extraction times,the ratio of solvent to material were investigated by single factor test and orthogonal design test.The results showed that the optimal conditions of extraction were : extracting solvent was 55% ethanol,extracting time was 45 min,extracting times was 2,the ratio of solvent to material was 1∶8.Under the optimum conditions,dry extract yielding rate was 12.2% and the content of cichoric acid was 1.2%.The procedure was stable and available for industrial production.

Biomass energy instead of traditional energy has become a hot topic of human research.The process of biomass energy was summarized in this paper,and the certain application status home and abroad were introduced,such as producing ethanol,diesel,oil and other fuel production with biomass energy,and generating the power by biomass gasification,medium circulation,crops straw burning.The applying prospect would focus on how to use the native geographical advantage and abundant resources as biomass energy reasonably in China.The development direction of biomass energy should be the trinity with agriculture,forestry and grass,and the combination of grass subject,biological technology and other subjects,so as to create the biomass energy with low cost,environmental protection and saving resources,and it would bring huge economic benefits for society.
