The quality variation in 'large leaf and large fruit' oranges from different locations of the tree was studied.The results showed that no differences were found for total soluble solid(TSS),titratable acid(TA) and TSS/TA ratio from the samples ranged from 5 to 30 pieces of fruit for each.The highest solids and TSS/TA ratio were in fruit picked from the uppermost outside of the tree and but no difference was found whatever on the south,north,east and west exposures in this study.Significant differences were found for TSS/TA ratio from different sampling directions on the tree and also the highest TSS was found from fruit apex.
