Objective To survey and analysis the education, published papers, research projects and the training condi?tions of the staff in Shanghai health inspection institutions so that it can provide a basis for further health inspection disci?pline construction and personnel cultivation. Method Data query and sample survey. Result The names of internal depart?ment in Shanghai health inspection institutions at all levels are different; the education of health supervisor with highest proportion is undergraduate, the proportion of graduate is low and the education of specialist has a certain proportion;the number of published paper in the year 2013 is less than 2012;the number of items in the year 2013 is 12 more than 2012 and the project funds in the year of 2013 is 306,000 RMB more than 2012. In the survey of“whether receiving training be?fore entering the institution ?”,32 people have participated in the centralized training of urban Health Inspection institu?tion among the 55 people who have been trained;5 people attended postgraduate education, 14 people participated in un?dergraduate education. In the survey of“How to evaluate whether it can help for work by participating in the centralized training of urban health inspection institution ?”, only one person (2%) select“cannot help.”. In the survey of“How to eval?uate whether it can help for work by participating in the training of local health inspection institution ?”, no choose“cannot help.”The most popular receptive form of education and training is“intensive training”;subsequently, the receptive form is“seminar”,“organization by the local institution”,“learning online”. Conclusion Further regulating of the setting in health inspection institutions, further improving of the professional competence of health supervisor, further theoretical research of health inspection discipline.
Objective To survey and analysis the training status of health inspection relation knowledge of health in?spection communicator among the relative person of management so that it can provide a basis for further health inspection discipline construction and personnel cultivation.Method Investigate and interview the 120 health inspection communica?tors by selecting randomly from the relative person of management in the three districts of Shanghai.Result The number of part-time health inspection communicators is obviously more in medical institution, the number of full-time in public place is more than in medical institution;the education of health inspection communicators is at a high level overall;the number of health inspection communicators who has the profession of clinical medicine, public health and law is different in the medical institutions and public places;the age of health inspection communicators in medical institutions is higher than in public places overall;the level of the health inspection communicators in understanding the health inspection work is different in the medical institutions and public places, accounting for 75%and 44.9%, respectively;the proportion of the health inspection communicators who has accepted the training in the medical institutions and public places accounted for 83.3%and 76.6%;about the form of training which the health inspection communicators has accepted, it is mainly central?ized training of urban health inspection institute in the department of medical institution, however, there is the training of lo?cal institute in the department of public place. The form which health inspection communicators take delight in mainly is centralized training;The two types of health inspection communicators are all hold that it is important to train, and the train?ing is helpful for works.Conclusion To do well in the team construction of health inspection communicators, it will make the health inspection work less work and it is the important part of person organization in the discipline construction of health inspection.
Objectives:Survey the current situation of doctor-patient dispute consultation settlement in medical institutions of Shanghai,understand the acknowledge and willingness of choosing consultation settlement from both sides and the pros and cons of the settlement and so on.Discover existing deficiency and provide suggestions and measures for further improvement of this mechanism.Offer decision basis for the policy making of health administration department.Methods:Survey 37 medical institutions and 124 patients within four districts of Shanghai with self-designed questionnaire.Results:All 37 institutions have established doctor-patient dispute consultation settlement departments.In 2007 and 2008,the percentage of doctor-patient disputes settled by consultation is 89.5% and 90.1% respectively.Most doctors and patients are inclined to solve disputes by consultation.30 medical institutions indicate that they adopt the consultation settlement due to social stability concern.23 institutions feel that patients raise unreasonable demand in dispute settlement process.62.1% of patients chose to settle dispute with hospitals by consultation,among which 41.1% made the decision for the reason of time-saving and convenience.Patients indicate the main drawbacks of dispute consultation settlement are information asymmetry and the possibility of being blindfolded.Conclusions:The main handing method for doctor-patient disputes is consultation settlement at the present time.Effort should be paid to the construction of doctor-patient dispute consultation settlement system and the improvement of the settlement mechanism.
Objective To investigate the conditions of consultation settlement for medical disputes in medical institutions of Shanghai,and provide referrences for improvement of medical dispute settlement. Methods Thirty medical institutions of Shanghai were surveyed with self-designed questionnaires,which included the aspects of department setting,staff allocation,number of medical disputes with consultation settlement in 2007 and 2008 and recognition on consultation settlement for medical disputes in medical institutions. Results There were specific departments for management of medical disputes in each institution,with a total of 63 staff in all institutions and full-time staff in 15 institutions(50%).Those with consultation settlement accounted for 88.5% and 90.1% respectively of all the medical disputes in 2007 and 2008.When medical disputes arose,24 institutions(80.0%) were willing to resolve by consultation,25(83.3%) adopted consultation settlement for social stability,21(70.0%) determined the compensation amount by compromise with patients,29(96.7%) concluded contracts with patients by written form,and 21(70.0%) drafted contracts by themselves. ConclusionHarmonious relationship between medical institutions and patients is important,and medical institutions should improve the mechanism in consultation settlement for medical disputes.
