The new wheat variety Yannong 22 with early maturity,high yield and wide adaptation was bred by complex hybridization at Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It was derived from the parental varieties of Lumai 14,Wei 132 and 87Chu 20.Ranking first of the tested varieties in Shandong wheat regional and productoin trials of late sowing and early maturing group,Yannong 22 was approved by Shandong Province Crop Cultivar Examination and Approval Committee.The breeding strategies for early maturing and high yield wheat were also introduced on formulating aim,selecting parents,earlier ear selecting and comprehensive considering of other characters.

In order to provide a reference for the selection and breeding,exact evaluation and approvement of new wheat varieties,making use of the grey correlative degree analysis in regional trial from 2003~2004,the grain yield and 12 main characters of 11 new varieties of wheat were evaluated comprehensively.The results showed that the result of evaluation on the order of revelant grade was consistent with the actual performance of the varieties.The three better varieties were liangxing99,954(5)-4,taishan008.They were approved by Shandong Province Crop Cultivar Examination and Approval Committee in 2004,2005 and 2006,respectively.We consider that compare with equal weight correlation degree,the results of weighted correlation degree fit better with the fact of varieties.

Effect of different culture way (furrow in the field, furrow withplastic mulch, hole with plastic mulch and ridge with plastic mulch) on growth and yield of Clocasia escalenta Schott was studied with cultivar "Laiyang Guyu ". The results showed that the germinate time of the three culture ways with plastic mulch were significantly short than furrow in the field. It was no significantly among the three culture ways with plastic mulch. The rate of germinate of hole with plastic mulch was the highest. In earlier stage of growth, the leef area index of the three culture ways with plastic mulch were significantly high compered with furrow in the field. The leef area index of hole with plastic mulch and ridge with plastic mulch were higher in middle and later stage. The tuber yield of the three culture ways with plastic mulch were significantly higher compered with furrow in the field, The tuber yield of hole with plastic mulch was the highest.
