LJ925 was developed by crossing 6603 as female parent with high resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and K326 as male parent through hybridization and pedigree selection. LJ925 grew strongly in fields, was high resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, moderately susceptible to blank shank, brown spots, mosaic virus and root-knot nematode, susceptible to granville wilt. LJ925 was easy to cure, and the colors of cured leaves were lemon to orange. Leaf chemical composition of 9-13 positions was acceptable, with reductive sugar 21.00%, total sugar 24.74%, alkaloid 1.79%, total nitrogen 1.74%, K2O 1.55%, chlorine 0.40%, starch 5.51%. Comparing with NC89, LJ925 had better economic value, better appearance quality and smoking quality. LJ925 had wide adaptability and good quality, and it can be grown in drought areas or continuous cropping fields, and should be transplanted earlier, and with caution of potato virus Y.
Effects of Mudanjiang’s ecological condition on aroma substances constituent contents in different genotypic flue-cured tobacco leaves were studied.Results indicated that total neutral aroma constituent contents of upper leaves varied from high to low in the order as CF202,NC89,911-21,7581,Y8303,Windel,JY-02,9625,LJ237,while that of middle leaves was Y8303,Windel,CF202,NC89,911-21,9625,JY-02,LJ237,7581.In conclusion,CF202,NC89 and Y8303 have better leaf qualities and are favorable for promotion and cultivation in Mudanjiang tobacco production zone.
Taking nine flue-cured tobacco varieties as the tested materials,the chromoplast pigment and its degraded products contents in different genotypes of flue-cured tobacco leaves in Mudanjiang tobacco-planting area were studied.The results indicated that the content of carotenoid in CF202,Windel and Y8303 was higher.The content of chlorophyll and carotenoid in NC89,JY-02 and 911-21 was more coordinative.The degraded products of chlorophyll and carotenoid were quite different among different genotypes of flue-cured tobacco leaves.
The gray correlation degree was applied to reveal the relationship between agronomic characters and economic indexes of the 3 Major flue-cured tobacco varieties in Mudanjiang in 2007.The results indicated that the closest factors to yield were number of leaf,the maximum leaf length and the plant height,followed by the maximum leaf width and stalk circumference.The closest factors to quality were number of leaf,the maximum leaf width and the plant height,followed by the stalk circumference and maximum leaf length.The agronomic characters in order of grey correlation degree to the average price,ratio of grade upper-middle tobacco and top tobacco were followed as the maximum leaf length,the plant height,stalk circumference,number of leaf and maximum leaf width.It is suggested that plant height,number of leaf,the maximum leaf length are more important than other traits in high yield and good quality of flue-cured tobacco breeding.
