Guiyan 202 is a new tobacco variety that aimed to balance yield with quality. It is a first generation male sterile hybrid that was bred by crossing the female parent MSGDH88, a self-bred line from anther culture, with the male parent Val16. The new variety was certified by the National Tobacco Variety Approval Committee in April, 2015. The Results from experiments and demonstration for multiple years indicated that the new variety showed a vigorous growth potential and uniformity in the field with well developed upper leaves. The main economic characters of the new variety planted in the suitable regions were obviously batter than those of the control K326. It showed resistance to black shank and weather fleck. The appearance quality and physical properties of the new variety were superior to the control. There was no significant difference between the chemical composition of Guiyan 202 and the control. The sensory properties of the new variety were slightly better than those of the control. It is a good tobacco variety balancing quality with yield and performed well in general, suitable for planting in most tobacco-growing areas in Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing and Shannxi.
In order to breed high-yield and high-quality flue-cured tobacco varieties(lines) and apply in production,promote the replacement of new and old varieties and the development of high-yield and high-quality tobacco.GY8,a new male-sterile hybrid variety of flue-cured tobacco,was developed from MSK326(female parent) and self-fertile anther culture strain GDH88(male parent).The upper leaves of which were outstretched,grew vigorously in early period and uniformly in farm field,its agronomic traits and economic properties were evidently superior to that of the control variety K326.GY8 was resistant to weather fleck and black shank,moderately resistant to brown spot.The main component contents were appropriate and the inner chemical components were harmonized of GY8 leaves.The appearance quality,physical characteristics and sensory evaluation of GY8 were similar to the control variety K326.GY8,both of yield and quality of which were well performed,was a new excellent flue-cured tobacco variety,which passed the agricultural and industrial evaluation of relevant departments in 2012.
taking advantage of ISSR molecular markers,On tobacco(k 326×8611)×(Corker 176×red big)combinations of 247 double haploid plants were assisted selection.,.Three better polymorphism ISSR primers which Augmentation was stable were Screened to select double haploid plant,47 individual pieces which has k 326 and red flowers auric yuan main mark were selected from 247 double haploid plants.Through Further the field observation,identify and combining ability analysis.Finally obtained excellent strain of GDH 88,Using the combination of ISSR molecular markers and systematic breeding method We can get good breeding strain of tobacco,to the benefit of enhancing the efficiency of tobacco breeding.
In order to reveal the genetic background and relationship of the tobacco germplasms,134 samples(including four kinds of cultivars and a wild species) were analyzed by using SRAP marker.The results showed that 15 pairs of polymorphic primers were selected from 228 pairs of SRAP primers,and they could generate 241 polymorphic fragments in 134 tobacco samples.The polymorphism ratio was 81.7 %.The genetic distance of samples was between 0.0213-0.5802,The analysis showed a greater amount of genetic polymorphic.The 134 samples could be classified into five groups at the level of GS 0.57.The same culture types has not been obviously classed together,which can reflects genetic background and genetic relationship of these tobacco varieties.
Chemical component of main cultivar flue-cured tobacco was carried out among K326,K730,G70,G140,Yun85 and self-breeding germplasm GDH88.The results showed that the content of nicotine in GDH88 was 2.2807%,sugar alkali 8.970,nitrogen alkali 0.9312,schmuck number 1.8924.The reserch indicated that among 13 varieties,the chemical component of GDH88 was the most appropriate.Through analyzing the correlation of the four parents,we found that the high-quality gene of GDH88 was mainly come from the parent K326.The results from the research on the self-breeding tobacco germplasm GDH88 showed it had good coordination and quality.The GDH88 had great potential for application in flue-cured tobacco breeding.
