"Microbiology and Immunology" is a foundation medical course.It is the premise for medical students to learn other professional courses.In order to meet the requirements of the personnel training objectives for the medical professionals,we should reform course content,curriculum design,curriculum training practice and teaching methods,and provide some experience for teaching reform of basic medical courses.
Objective To explore the expression of COX-2 and Ki-67 in thyroid neoplasm tissue,and to analyze the correlation between the tumor-related factors and their biocharacteristics,the postoperative patients' survival time. Methods Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of COX-2 and Ki-67 in thyroid neoplasm tissues of 68 thyroid neoplasm patients and in normal thyroid tissues of 40 healthy controls.All the data were analyzed by SPSS16.0 software. Results The positive expression rates of COX-2 and Ki-67 in thyroid neoplasm tissues(60.29%,67.64%) were higher than those in healthy controls(2.5% and 27.5%),and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The expression of COX-2 and Ki-67 in thyroid neoplasm tissue was positively correlated with the size of the tumor,differentiation degree,invasive depth,TNM stage,and distal metastasis(P0.05).The five-year survival rate of the patients with positive expression of COX-2 and Ki-67 was lower than that of healthy controls(P0.05). Conclusions COX-2 and Ki-67 could be regarded as the effective indices for early diagnosis and prognosis prediction of thyroid neoplasm,which could guide the clinical evaluation of biological behaviors of thyroid tumors.
