Enhancing urban resilience and fostering sustainable economic development are crucial for countries to mitigate various risks. Based on the pressure-state-response (PSR) framework and Bayesian networks (BN), this study constructs a new urban resilience assessment and simulation model. First, based on the PSR framework and GIS, the spatiotemporal evolution of urban resilience is analyzed; second, the Geodetector is utilized to identify the primary factors influencing urban resilience; finally, the BN is employed to simulate various urban resilience scenarios. The results show that from 2000 to 2020, the resilience level of Dalian has been on an upward trend, evolving from a lower level in the central and western regions to a higher level, and its distribution has changed from dispersed to concentrated in the central urban area, but the regional spatial gap continues to widen; in addition, higher economic conditions and suitable population density are the dominant factors affecting urban resilience. Improving economic vitality and per capita public service levels can increase the probability of cities achieving high resilience and extremely high resilience by 8% and 12%, respectively. This study can provide valuable insights for enhancing the resilience of coastal cities and promoting regional sustainable development.
Extreme climate, natural disasters, and deep poverty have triggered increasingly common migration worldwide. China’s resettlement projects have relocated approximately 10 million residents from disaster-prone, drought-prone, mountainous areas to suitable resettlement sites. However, ecological migration (EM) and short-period resettlement site selection may pose potential risks to the sustainable development of resettlement. Furthermore, previous research has focused on immigrants’ livelihoods but paid less attention to resettlement suitability (RS) in arid mountainous areas. This paper conducts a case study investigating the measurement, differences, and obstacles of RS for EM resettlement sites in northwest China’s mountainous regions. We select 29 indicators from five dimensions, including geology, climate, economy, transportation, and public services, to construct an assessment model of RS. The results show that resettlement site suitability is inversely related to altitude and directly related to economic vitality. RS along traffic arteries and near water systems is significantly higher than in other areas. Long-distance resettlement’s average suitability is 14.63% higher than short-distance resettlement, facilitating migration resettlement. Topographic and geological conditions are the primary factors hindering RS in arid mountainous areas, with an obstacle degree of 37.11%. Flat terrain, convenient water access, and medical treatment are crucial for RS. This research offers insights into EM decisions in arid mountainous areas and improving RS and regional sustainable development under global climate change.
The intelligent operation method is used to optimize the coupling operation of environmental control systems (ECS) in buildings and is significant for mining potential energy savings and improving health and comfort levels indoors. However, automatic operation strategies have high frequency of manual override, which complicates the assurance of the expected operation effect. One of the fundamental rea-sons for this phenomenon is that the automatic operation strategy fails to consider the varying prefer-ences of occupants with respect to the indoor environment and control habits of the ECS. Therefore, considering the personalized preferences and habits of occupants and actualizing intelligent operation are essential to ensuring occupants' comfort and improving energy saving via the automatic operation of the ECS. Based on this concept, this study divided the consideration of personalized factors in intelli-gent operation into two stages: determining occupants' preferences and habits and formulating the oper-ation strategy accordingly. We reviewed research related to these two stages, and extracted the relevant information needed to propose guiding concepts for intelligent operation. Occupants' preferences through physiological parameters and application to intelligent operation strategy were inferred to effec-tively achieve the operation concepts above. Building is an important scenario for achieving global carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, accounting for approximately 37% of global energy-related CO2 emissions in 2020. In the meanwhile, the construction and operation of buildings was responsible for 36% of global energy consumption, of which 30% energy was used for space heating. Therefore, this paper proposes a low-carbon building heating system that is coupled to a new semiconductor radiation heating unit and distributed rooftop photovoltaic to reduce carbon emissions. To reveal its building heating characteristics, a dynamic model of heat transfer based on semiconductor low-temperature radiant heating is first established by analyzing the heat conduction, convection, and radiation models, and the uncertainty from both the distributed rooftop photovoltaic and building heating demand is considered in the building heating operation strategy. Then, a simulation model of a low-carbon building heating system is built in MATLAB/SIMULINK for two different climate zones in China (Beijing and Wuhan). When building and using the low-carbon building heating system stable for 30 years, the payback period is 5.2–8.2 years in Beijing and 6.4–11.6 years in Wuhan. Compared with the traditional grid-powered heating system, the simulation revealed that the carbon emissions of Beijing and Wuhan during the heating season are reduced by 44.9% and 44.3%, respectively, and the corresponding building heating cost is saved by 62.1% and 57.8%.

目的 观察宁心痛方治疗不稳定型心绞痛的临床疗效及对血清生物标志物的影响.方法 将2019年2月—2020年6月南京市中医院诊治的110例冠心病不稳定型心绞痛患者随机分为治疗组和对照组各55例,最终治疗组54例、对照组52例完成研究.对照组采用西医常规治疗,治疗组在常规治疗基础上加用宁心痛方,2组疗程均为8周.比较2组患者治疗后心绞痛症状疗效、心电图疗效、中医证候疗效,观察2组治疗前后西雅图心绞痛量表(SAQ)评分及血脂、超敏C反应蛋白(hs-CRP)、同型半胱氨酸(Hcy)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)、基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)水平变化.结果 治疗8周后,治疗组心绞痛症状和中医证候总有效率分别为94.4%(51/54)和90.7%(49/54),对照组分别为75.0%(39/52)和73.1%(38/52),治疗组均明显高于对照组(P均<0.05);2组治疗后SAQ评分中躯体活动受限程度(PL)、心绞痛稳定状态(AS)、心绞痛发作情况(AF)、治疗满意程度(TS)评分均明显升高(P均<0.05),且治疗组均明显高于对照组(P均<0.05);2组治疗后血清总胆固醇(TC)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、hs-CRP、MMP-9、IL-6、Hcy水平均明显降低(P均<0.05),且治疗组血清LDL-C、hs-CRP、MMP-9、IL-6水平均明显低于对照组(P均<0.05).结论 宁心痛方治疗不稳定型心绞痛疗效确切,其机制可能与抑制炎症因子过度激活、增加易损斑块稳定性、调节脂质代谢等相关.
In order to effectively evaluate the time series with high dimensionality and uncertainty, a time series segmentation and clustering method integrating cloud model analysis is proposed. The entropy and super entropy of the cloud model are used to identify the subsequence with the worst stability, further divide the subsequence, and dynamically realize segmentation to form a cloud model sequence. At the same time, the effectiveness evaluation indicator of segmented aggregation is constructed by the cloud model to determine the optimal number of segments. For different cloud model sequences, the cloud models are matched through the relationship of time window, and the similarity measures are given. The results of experiments indicate that the proposed method can effectively determine the number of time series segments, and greatly compress the original sequence, retain the basic characteristics of the data and improve the clustering efficiency of time series.
BACKGROUNDAggressive malignant primary orbital tumors are extremely rare in newborns.The current cases further clarify the clinical features of malignant primary orbital tumors in neonates. CASE SUMMARYAt the time of presentation at the Seventh Center of People's Liberation Army General (PLAG) Hospital, the children were 1-, 2-and 5-mo-old, respectively, and included 2 boys and 1 girl.All three cases had unilateral proptosis at birth, and underwent mass excision and histopathologic examination.A peripheral primary neuroectodermal tumor, an aggressive infantile fibromatosis and an embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma were diagnosed, respectively.The first case underwent routine chemotherapy following surgery but died within three months due to worsening condition as the tumor spread throughout the body.The other two children were treated by surgery, and at the follow-up visits 6 mo and 1 year after surgery, respectively, the wound was completed healed, and they had normal growth and development without radiotherapy or chemotherapy.A review of highly uncommon orbital tumors in newborns is also provided. CONCLUSIONMalignant primary tumors should be considered in the presence of unilateral proptosis in newborns.
OBJECTIVE:This study aims to investigate the role of stigmasterol in lung cancer. The study aims to investigate the role of stigmasterol in lung cancer and further explore its possible mechanisms.METHODS:Cell Counting Kit-8 assay, 5-ethynyl-2-deoxyuridine (EdU), TUNEL and Flow cytometry were conducted to detect the proliferation and apoptosis of lung cancer cell lines. qRT-PCR and western blot were conducted to detect mRNA and protein levels of caspase-3 and caspase-9. In addition, Gene Ontology, STRING, SWISSMODEL, cellular thermal shift assay (CETSA) and Swiss Target Prediction were used to predict the targets of stigmasterol.RESULTS:Behavioral studies showed that stigmasterol inhibited the proliferation and promoted the apoptosis of lung cancer cells. Further research revealed that retinoic acid-related orphan receptor C (RORC) directly targeted stigmasterol in lung cancer. Interestingly, rescue experiments indicated that RORC overexpression reversed the inhibitory effect of stigmasterol on lung cancer.CONCLUSION:In our study, we confirmed the functional role of the stigmasterol-RORC axis in lung cancer progression, which provides a latent target for lung cancer treatment.
Occupant behavior in residential buildings has great energy-saving potential and offers an important opportunity for realizing the targets of energy conservation and carbon emission reduction. Traditionally, it is believed that occupant behavior aligns with people's energy-related attitude. However, an attitudebehavior gap has been observed in many recent studies, which rarely focused on specific attitudes and behaviors in urban residential buildings. Therefore, based on a large-scale empirical survey (N = 1003) in Beijing, China, we explore the relationship between energy-related attitudes and behaviors. Specifically, purchase and habitual behaviors are investigated along with relevant attitudes, including the willingness to pay (WTP) more for energy efficient products, whether paying attention (WPA) to energy efficiency parameters/indicators of products when making a purchase, and the willingness to change behavior (WTC) for further residential energy reduction. The results show a mixed picture. There is a consistency between the occupants' WPA and purchase behavior. In contrast, the occupants generally don't behave consistently with their reported WTP and WTC, suggesting the existence of attitude-behavior gaps. Different reasons may lead to these gaps, demonstrating the necessity of a more comprehensive and flexible strategy for energy policymaking. Furthermore, a closer look at the factors underlying different attitudes shows the significant effects that perceived building thermal insulation performance and past experiences of changing behavior may have, suggesting the effectiveness and importance of building thermal retrofits and more targeted awareness campaigns. A self-reinforcing feedback loop may exist between attitude and behavior, demonstrating the great potential of social interactions and peer influence for behavioral change. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. Most of the real-life networks are heterogeneous networks that contain multiple types of nodes and edges, and heterogeneous networks integrate more information and contain richer semantic information than homogeneous networks. Heterogeneous network representation learning to have powerful modeling capabilities, enables to solve the heterogeneity of heterogeneous networks effectively, and to embed the rich structure information and semantic information of heterogeneous networks into low-dimensional node representations to facilitate downstream task applications. Through sorting out and classifying the current heterogeneous network representation learning methods at home and abroad, reviewed the current research status of heterogeneous network representation learning methods, compared the characteristics of each category model , introduced the related applications of heterogeneous network representation learning, and summarized and prospected the development trend of heterogeneous network representation learning methods. It is proposed that in-depth discussion can be carried out in the following aspects in future: First, avoid predefined meta-paths and fully release the automatic learning capabilities of the model; Second, design heterogeneous network representation learning method suitable for dynamic and large-scale networks.

Background: Tanreqing injection (TRQ) is a traditional Chinese medicine commonly used in China to treat pulmonary diseases presenting as phlegm-heat syndrome. Robust data on the safety of TRQ from real-world observational cohorts are currently lacking. Objective: To evaluate as the incidence, type, and predictors of adverse events (AEs) and adverse drug reactions (ADRs) of TRQ in clinical practice in China. Methods: We conducted a population-based cohort, multicenter study to evaluate the incidence, manifestation, outcomes, and risk factors of AEs and ADRs following TRQ use in China. Between April 2014 and May 2015 a total of 30,322 consecutive inpatients/emergency attendance patients from 90 hospitals across China administrated TRQ were followed-up for 7 days. Odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated using logistic regression to identify predictors of ADRs. Results: The incidence of AEs and ADRs was 1.4 and 0.3%, respectively. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders were the most common ADRs. All ADRs were mild or moderate in severity, except for one serious case of anaphylactic reaction. The majority of ADRs (72.8%) occurred in the first 2 h after TRQ administration. Two-thirds of patients (66.1%) in the study were prescribed TRQ off-label, including infants aged ≤24 months. A history of food allergy (OR 4.50, 95% CI: 1.35-15.00), drug allergy (OR 2.77, 95% CI: 1.56-4.94), and fast infusion speed (off-label use) (OR 2.10, 95% CI: 1.27-3.50) were associated with an increased risk of ADRs. Conclusion: TRQ is well tolerated in the general population, yet off-label use is prevalent. Efforts are required to educate prescribers to adhere to the drug label in order to minimize potential patient harm.
Objectives Arctigenin (ARG) has been proved to inhibit the viability of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) via inducing apoptosis. However, the precise mechanism remains unknown. The present study was aimed to further investigate the mechanism of ARG against HCC in vitro and in vivo. Methods Arctigenin was applied in vitro and in vivo. Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, etc., were used to investigate the mechanisms. Key findings The time-dependent enhancement of Bax/Bcl-2 ratio, cytochrome c release, Fas and FasL levels, caspase cascade activation and the loss in the mitochondrial out membrane potential indicated that both intrinsic and extrinsic apoptotic pathways were triggered by ARG. Moreover, Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) and p38 phosphorylated time-dependently. And inhibition of the phosphorylation of either p38 or JNK led to a significant reduction in HepG2 apoptosis, owing to the crucial roles of p38 and JNK played in regulating the apoptosis pathways. In addition, ARG increased the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in HepG2 cells, while the antioxidant N-acetyl cysteine almost reversed ARG-induced JNK and p38 activation, and dramatically decreased cell apoptosis. In vivo, ARG increased the cell apoptosis in tumour tissues, and p-p38, p-JNK and Bax were significantly upregulated. Conclusions Our findings demonstrated that ARG induced apoptosis in HCC via ROS-mediated mitogen-activated protein kinases apoptosis pathway.
Despite progress in energy efficiency technologies and energy intensity reduction, the buildings sector's final energy consumption and associated CO2 emissions both continue to grow, pointing to the necessity of understanding real occupant behavior. This study, therefore, explores occupants' energy-related behavior in residential buildings with empirical data from a large-scale survey in Beijing, China, aiming to present an in-depth and comprehensive picture of occupant behavior. We obtained a total of 1003 valid responses to an online questionnaire concentrating on occupant behaviors with respect to space heating and cooling, water heating, cooking, lighting, appliances and other equipment. Our results show that, typically, purchase behavior is overall energy-efficient, as most appliances purchased are energy efficient. For both purchase and usage behaviors, air conditioning (AC), which is used for both space heating and cooling, plays a critical role as residents usually have less energy efficient AC in their homes and use it more often and for a longer period of time than other devices. Their habitual reactions are consistent across all habitual categories, but show no significant correlation with their purchase behavior. There is no single, straightforward and coherent pattern that can be explained by any single socio-demographic factor. These findings offer a behavioral insight into efforts to improve residential energy efficiency at the city scale. For instance, more policy attention should be directed to occupants' purchase and usage behavior of ACs, such as by promoting the energy rating program in a more effective way. Moreover, given the lack of apparent linkage between purchase and habitual behaviors, a comprehensive policy framework incorporating different measures for different types of behavior is necessary. The complexity underlying behavioral choices also suggests the necessity of better understanding the behavioral patterns and their determining factors, as well as avoiding any simplistic assumption in policy making that aims to take behavioral factors into account. 目的 分析丙氨酸氨基转移酶(ALT)<正常值上限2倍(2×ULN)慢性乙型肝炎(CHB)患者肝组织病理特征与实验室指标的相关性.方法 收集兰州市第二人民医院2017年1月至2019年5月住院的ALT<2×ULN、HBV DNA阳性、进行肝脏活体组织活检的CHB患者共91例,根据肝组织活检结果将G2以下者定为轻度炎症组(61例),G2及以上者定为中度炎症组(30例);S2以下者定为无明显纤维化组(69例),S2及以上者定为明显纤维化组(22例),分别将炎症两组、纤维化两组患者的血细胞、肝生化指标、凝血指标、乙型肝炎病毒标志物(HBV M)、HBV DNA进行对比分析(Wilcoxon W检验和χ2检验)与相关性研究(φ相关分析).结果 91例患者肝组织轻度炎症组与中度炎症组ALT、天门冬氨酸氨基转移酶(AST)、球蛋白(GLO)和乙型肝炎病毒e抗原(HBeAg)阳性率差异均有统计学意义(Z=2.095、P=0.036,Z=3.927、P<0.001,Z=2.900、P=0.004,χ2=10.972、P=0.001).无明显纤维化组与明显纤维化组患者AST、GLO、白细胞(WBC)、血小板(PLT)和HBeAg阳性率差异均有统计学意义(Z=2.933、P=0.003,Z=3.064、P=0.002,Z=2.544、P=0.011,Z=2.231、P=0.026,χ2=10.116、P=0.001).HBV DNA水平在肝组织轻度炎症组和中度炎症组、无明显纤维化组和明显纤维化组间差异均无统计学意义(Z=1.908、P=0.056,Z=1.729、P=0.084).ALT、AST与肝组织炎症活动度低度相关(rφ=0.211、P=0.044;rφ=0.284、P=0.007);AST、WBC与肝组织纤维化程度低度相关(rφ=0.222、P=0.035,rφ=0.289、P=0.006);GLO与肝组织纤维化程度中度相关(rφ=0.457、P<0.001).结论 对于ALT<2×ULN、HBV DNA阳性的CHB患者,HBeAg阳性者较阴性者发生肝纤维化的机率高;WBC、PLT、AST、GLO水平与肝组织纤维化程度有关,其中GLO水平>30 g/L的患者与肝组织肝纤维化的相关性更高.
Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and mechanism of Liangxue Xiaoyin decoction in treating blood-heat type psoriasis. Methods: Clinical data from 136 patients with blood-heat type psoriasis were retrospectively analyzed. Patients treated with Liangxue Xiaoyin decoction were included in the study group and patients treated with Avi A capsules were in the control group; 68 cases were studied in each group. Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) concentration in the serum were detected before and after treatment by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed after treatment. Results: The pre-treatment psoriasis area and severity index (PASI), pruritus degree score, and serum TNF-alpha and IL-8 levels of the test group were not significantly different from those of the control group (P>0.05); The total effective rate in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), but the adverse reaction rate in the study group was not significantly different from that in the control group (P>0.05). Conclusion: Liangxue Xiaoyin decoction is clinically effective for the treatment of blood-heat type psoriasis and enables the reduction of psoriasis area, relief of pruritus degree, and improvement of the clinical symptoms of patients. Liangxue Xiaoyin decoction may achieve its therapeutic effect through the inhibition of serum TNF-alpha and IL-8 levels and the regulation of the inflammatory reactions and immune responses of human body.
