Three new asymmetric bis-Schiff bases containing thiocarbohydrazide were synthesized by the reaction of thiocarbohydrazide with ketone and different aldehydes step by step. Compositions of these compounds were determined by IR, MS and elemental analysis.
Recent research progresses of method of preparation in chiral compound's racemate of amino acids were reviewed in this paper, the possible development future of it was predicted.
2-(3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzylidene)-amino-ethanol has been synthesized and its composition and structure has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR,MS and ()~1H NMR. This compound is a new Schiff base. Its antibacterial activities have been tested. The results show that this new Schiff base can inhibit five kinds of bacteria.
