Vitiligo is a common depigmented skin disease characterized by being easy to diagnose but difficult to cure,and the mechanism is closely related to qi and blood. Combined with the theory and clinical practice of Chinese medicine, the treatment of vitiligo is based on the theory of "harmony of qi and blood". The disharmony of qi and blood is the pathogenesis of vitiligo and the essential treatment is to dispel wind, nourish liver and kidney and warm yang on the basis of harmonizing qi and blood to nourish the skin. According to the theory of "harmony of qi and blood", the pathogenesis of vitiligo were discussed from the disharmony of qi and blood, and the treatment principles were summarized, expecting to provide relevant references for treating vitiligo.
