We have done the analysis of the relationship of clinical manifestations of brain lesion and cerebral haemodynamics parameters alterations in patients with valvular heart disease. The analysis of clinical data displayed naturally determined aggravation of neurological disorders in patients with later stages of cerebral lesion: from subjective “cerebral” complaints in patients with initial manifestations of insufficiency of cerebral blood circulation to microsymptomatology, precise neurological syndromes and their various combinations in patients with later stages of dyscirculatory encephalopathy. During study of correlation between parameters of cerebral haemodynamics and severity of brain lesion we registered a decreasing of linear blood flow rate and volumetric blood flow rate in carotid system in patients with later stages of dyscirculatory encephalopathy. Similar tendencies of alteration of volumetric blood flow rate were revealed in vertebro-basilar system. Thereby, the progression of cerebral lesion were associated with decreasing of blood flow rates of cerebral haemodynamics in studied patients. The analysis of the results of study of endothelial function revealed the following regularities: there is a systemic process of remodeling of cardiovascular system in patients with valvular heart disease. However, endothelial dysfunction is not the determining factor of cerebral haemodynamics disorder and severity of cerebral affection.
