目的:观察滋阴泻火汤治疗绝经期睡眠障碍的临床疗效.方法:选择绝经期睡障碍患者78例,随机分为对照组和观察组各39例.对照组采用西医常规治疗,观察组内服滋阴泻火汤,两组共治疗4周.比较两组治疗前后临床疗效,睡眠质量(包括入睡时间、睡眠时间、睡眠效率、睡眠障碍、催眠药物、日间功能障碍)评分、雌二醇(estradiol,E2)、促卵泡激素(follicle stimulating hormone,FSH)、促黄体素(luteiniz-ing hormone,LH)水平及不良反应发生情况.结果:观察组总有效率[92.31%(36/39]与对照组[87.18%(34/39)]比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05).治疗后两组睡眠质量各项评分及总分均较治疗前降低(P<0.05);且观察组各项指标降低较对照组更明显(P<0.05).停药4周后随诊,对照组各项评分及总分较治疗后升高(P<0.05);观察组各项评分及总分较治疗后无明显差异(P>0.05);观察组各项评分及总分均明显低于对照组(P<0.05).与对照组治疗后比较,观察组E2水平(P<0.05),FSH、LH水平降低(P<0.05).观察组不良反应发生率[0%(0/39)]低于对照组[10.26%(4/39)](P<0.05).结论:滋阴泻火汤治疗绝经期女性睡眠障疗效显著、作用持久,且无明显不良反应.
Objective: To compare the clinical effect of traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on postoperative abdominal distension of lumbar degenerative diseases.Methods: A total of 202 patients with lumbar degenerative diseases who underwent internal fixation from January 1,2020 to February 1,2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 101 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were givenabdominal ultrasound physiotherapy after operation.At the same time, they were given lactulose oral liquid once a day the next day after operation.Some patients with severe abdominal distension or even abdominal pain were given enema, anal exhaust, or gastrointestinal decompression or short-term fasting.The observation group received abdominal ultrasound physiotherapy, abdominal and lower limb massage and oral Chengqi Decoction.The clinical effects were observed at 12,24 and 48 hours after treatment.Visual analogue scale(VAS) was used to evaluate the abdominal distension and pain of the two groups after treatment.The remission time of abdominal distension, the first exhaust and defecation time and defecation times in one week were compared between the two groups.Results: The total effective rate was 94% in the observation group and 80% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 12 h, 24 h and 48 h of treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at the same time point(P<0.05).The remission time of abdominal distension and the first exhaust and defecation time in the observation group were significantly earlier than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the defecation times in one week were significantly more than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: manual massage combined with oral Chengqi Decoction can significantly improve the symptoms of abdominal distension in patients with lumbar degenerative disease.
OBJECTIVE To observe the curative effect of joint administration of acupuncture, western and herbal medicines and bamboo-jar-cupping in the treatment of locomotor dysfunction in patients with apoplexy (acute phase) of wind-phlegm blocking meridian-collateral type in acute stroke patients, and its influence on some relevant laboratory indexes. METHODS A total of 100 cases of acute stroke patients of wind-phlegm blocking meridian-collateral type were recruited, and equally and randomly divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table. The patients of both groups received treatment of conventional western medicines (for anti-platelet aggregation, blood-lipid regulation, arterial plaque-stabilization, cerebral cell protection and blood pressure-lowering), Chinese herbal medicines (for promoting blood circulation to dredge the meridian-collaterals), and acupuncture of Neiguan (PC6), Chize (LU5), Zusanli (ST36), Binao (LI14) and Sanyinjiao (SP6); and in addition, the patients of the treatment group also treated by cupping with bamboo-jar (kept for 10 min). The treatment was conducted once a day for 2 weeks. After the treatment, the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA), Barthel Index (BI), and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome score were used to assess the state of neurofunction, locomotor function, daily living ability, and TCM symptoms. The contents of serum C-reactive protein, D-dimer and blood homocysteine were detected using radical immunodiffusion, immunoturbidimetry, and enzymic methods, respectively. RESULTS After the treatment, of the 50 and 50 cases in the control and treatment groups, 5 and 6 were cured, 7 and 18 experienced marked improvement, 23 and 20 were effective, and 15 and 6 ineffective, with the effective rate being significantly higher in the treatment group (88.0%) than in the control group (70.0%, P<0.05). Self-comparison showed that the FMA and BI scores were significantly increased (P<0.01), and the NIHSS score and TCM syndrome score notably decreased in both groups ( P<0.01) in comparison with their own pre-treatment. Comparison between the two groups showed that the FMA and BI scores were obviously higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05), whereas the NIHSS score and TCM syndrome score as well as the C-reaction protein content evidently lower in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05, P<0.01). CONCLUSION Joint administration of acupuncture, western and Chinese herbal medicines and cupping can promote the recovery of nerve function, improve locomotor function, activities of daily living and quality of life, and reduce inflammatory state in acute stroke patients with wind-phlegm blocking collaterals.
目的:探讨苇茎汤加减对痰热壅肺型肺炎的临床疗效.方法:收集2017年6月—2019年12月痰热壅肺型肺炎患者82例,随机分为对照组和观察组,每组41例.对照组给予常规西药治疗,观察组在对照组基础上给予苇茎汤辨证加减治疗.两组患者均连续治疗两周,评价两组患者治疗前后肺部感染评分(CPIS)、中医症候积分、症状恢复时间、外周血炎症指标[白细胞(WBC)、C反应蛋白(CRP)、降钙素原(PCT)]及治疗有效率.结果:观察组患者总有效率为82.93%,对照组为56.10%,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后两组患者CPIS和中医症候积分均较治疗前下降(P<0.05),且观察组明显低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组咳嗽、咳痰、喘息、肺部啰音消失时间、体温恢复正常时间及影像学示肺部炎症吸收时间均少于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后两组患者外周血炎症指标WBC,CRP,PCT较治疗前均显著降低(P<0.05),且观察组明显低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).治疗期间观察组无不良反应出现,对照组有3例患者出现腹泻,停药后症状缓解.结论:苇茎汤加减联合西药治疗痰热壅肺型肺炎,可有效提高治疗效果,提高患者生活质量,且无不良反应.
目的:评估化滞柔肝颗粒对湿热淤积型非酒精性脂肪肝(NAFLD)的治疗效果.方法:选取2016年2月至2018年1月北京水利医院收治的湿热淤积型NAFLD患者120例,随机分为观察组和对照组,每组60例.2组均在非药物治疗基础上观察组给予化滞柔肝颗粒口服,3次/d,1袋/次,对照组给予水飞蓟宾胶囊,3次/d,8g/次.连续治疗3个月,比较2组患者的临床症状、体征,体重指数(BMI),丙氨酸转氨酶(ALT)、天冬氨酸转氨酶(AST)、总胆固醇(TC)、三酰甘油(TG)等.结果:2组患者治疗后临床症状、体征,BMI,ALT、AST,TC、TG水平均较治疗前下降(P<0.05),但观察组较对照组改善更明显,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).且治疗期间观察组无不良反应,对照组患者有4例出现恶心、胃肠道反应,3例患者出现皮疹.结论:化滞柔肝颗粒可明显改善湿热瘀积型非酒精性脂肪肝患者的临床症状、体征、BMI及血脂、肝功能指标,无药物不良反应,为临床患者提供有效的治疗方案.
An increasing amount of evidence suggests that the pathophysiology of schizophrenia is associated with the abnormal immune system, and cytokines may be important in schizophrenia. Among these cytokines, interleukin-1β may play a role in the pathogenesis of the disease. In the present study, we investigated the genetic association between a TaqI polymorphism in interleukin-1β gene (IL-1β) and schizophrenia by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis among 132 Chinese families of Han descent. The transmission disequilibrium test (TDT) did not demonstrate an allelic association with schizophrenia. Our results suggested that the TaqI polymorphism in IL-1β gene might not confer increased susceptibility for schizophrenia.
A number of studies have indicated that 8p22–p12 is likely to harbor schizophrenia susceptibility loci. In this region, the candidate gene of interest, neuregulin 1 (NRG1), may play a role in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia. Then in the present study, we performed the linkage disequilibrium to determine the association between three genetic variants (SNPs: rs3924999, rs2954041, SNP8NRG221533) on NRG1 gene and schizophrenia in 246 Chinese Han schizophrenic family trios using PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphism method and denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography. The transmission disequilibrium test analysis for each variant showed a significant difference between two transmitted alleles even after Bonferroni correction (rs3924999, P =0.007752; rs2954041, P =0.0009309; SNP8NRG221533, P =0.012606). The global χ 2 test for haplotype transmission also revealed a strong association (χ 2 =46.068, df=7, P <0.000001). Our results suggest that the NRG1 gene may play a role in conferring susceptibility to the disease.
Background: The FZD3 protein is a transmembrane receptor for secreted Wnt glycoproteins involved in the Wnt signal transduction cascades. The alteration of Wnt signal transduction cascades has been thought to be involved in producing the cytoarchitectural defects observed in schizophrenia. Because the human FZD3 gene is mapped to chromosome 8p21, which is a potential region containing a gene for schizophrenia, it may play a role in conferring susceptibility to the disease.Methods: This study was conducted with the detection of three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) located within the FZD3 locus by using the polymerase chain reaction-based restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis among 246 schizophrenic family trios of Chinese Han descent.Results: The transmission disequilibrium test (TDT) demonstrated that the three SNPs all showed a preferential transmission with a p value ranging from .0003-.000007. The global chi-squared test for haplotype transmission also showed a strong association (chi(2) = 48.84, df = 7, p < .000001).Conclusions: The strong association between the FZD3 locus and schizophrenia suggests that the gene itself may play a role in underlying schizophrenia, although a nearby gene responsible for predisposing to the illness cannot be ruled out.
BACKGROUND:The presence of simian virus 40 (SV40) in human brain tumors remains a controversial issue. Even if SV40 does exist in brain tumors, the questions of whether it is associated with brain tumorigenesis and by what mechanisms are unknown. METHODS:SV40 large tumor antigen (Tag) was investigated by immunoprecipitation, silver staining, and Western blot analysis in 65 brain tumor cases and 8 cases of normal brain tissue. Tag-p53 and Tag-pRb complexes were screened by immunoprecipitation and Western blot analysis in 18 and 15 Tag positive tumor tissues, respectively. RESULTS:Tag was found in all 8 cases of ependymoma and 2 cases of choroid plexus papilloma, 90% of pituitary adenoma cases (9 of 10), 73% of astrocytoma cases (11 of 15), 70% of meningioma cases (7 of 10), 50% of glioblastoma multiforme cases (4 of 8), and 33% of medulloblastoma cases (2 of 6). Five oligodendroglioma cases, 1 pineocytoma case, and 8 cases of normal brain tissue were negative for Tag. The Tag-p53 complex was detected in all 18 Tag positive tumors tested and the Tag-pRb complex was detected in all 15 Tag positive tumors tested. CONCLUSIONS:SV40 Tag not only is expressed in brain tumors; it also can form specific complexes with tumor suppressors p53 and pRb. SV40 is correlated with brain tumorigenesis. The inactivation of p53 and pRb due to the formation of Tag-p53 and Tag-pRb complexes possibly is a significant mechanism in the etiopathogenesis of brain tumors.
