I am a postdoctoral scholar in Prof. Song-Chun Zhu's VCLA lab at UCLA.

My primary research interests focus on functional object and scene understanding, spanning in the fields of computer vision, computer graphics, robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and cognitive science.

In particular, my ongoing work integrates high-level cues (e.g. functionality, physics, causality) into computer vision to enable richer representations and deeper understandings. I am a co-organizer of Vision Meets Cognition (FPIC) workshops, 3D Scene Understanding for Vision, Graphics, and Robotics workshops, and Virtual Reality Meets Physical Reality workshops.

My work is currently supported by DARPA XAI N66001-17-2-4029 and ONR MURI N00014-16-1-2007.
