The study clarifies the essence of innovation infrastructure as a digitally-oriented ecosystem, develops an integrated model of its development based on the triple helix model, taking into account the digital component. Digitalization (Weighted index IID), which takes into account the different significance of eight key indicators. The empirical study was conducted based on the comparative analysis of Ukraine with six countries (Norway, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova). The main results of the study showed that Ukraine ranks 6th among the seven countries under study in terms of the innovation development of the infrastructure, with an index value of 26.44 (compared to 169.26 in Norway and 147.34 in Estonia). The most critical weaknesses are extremely low business spending on R&D, weak network cooperation of innovatively active small and medium-sized businesses, low intensity of public-private interaction, and insufficient use of cloud technologies by enterprises. At the same time, Ukraine's relative competitive advantage is a relatively higher level of venture capital. The Weighted index IID has been tested, which takes into account the different importance of indicators for the formation of a modern innovation ecosystem. The results obtained confirm that in the digitalization context, the efficiency of innovation infrastructure is determined not so much by the presence of individual objects as by the synergy between the digital basis, financial and resource support, and network interaction of the participants in the triple helix. The identified significant imbalances indicate the need to intensify research and development in business, develop digital infrastructure, and stimulate public-private cooperation.
During excavations at the settlement of the Trypillia Culture of the BII stage near the village of Nebelivka, pit-like objects were investigated, located next to the remains of buildings B17 and B18. Magnetic surveying conducted at dozens of settlements of the Cucuteni-Trypillian cultural complex revealed a huge number of such objects, but only a few of them have been excavated so far. Thus, the results and experience of relatively large-scale excavations in Nebelivka may be useful in further studying the Trypillian pits. The objects in Nebelivka were discovered using magnetic surveying, which showed their non-standard configuration. Archaeological research confirmed the results of magnetic surveying and provided significant material, the study of which allows reconstructing some aspects of the use of these objects. At first, archaeologists believed these were dugouts used as dwellings. Later, they began to be seen as a source of clay for construction and repair of dwellings, as well as a source of clay for pottery production. Researchers also considered their ritual function. As a result, we can talk about the initial purpose of the pits as pits for extracting building materials, and later as cult objects.
Protecting information and transferring data over a Virtual Private Network (VPN) are important issues nowadays, as the risks of cybercrime and data theft are increasing in all developed countries. A VPN is a lightweight program that connects your devices to remote servers scattered around the world, hiding your real IP address. This way, when you go online and access a particular website, your internet company cannot see what web services you are using, and the website host cannot determine your true location. VPNs also use several data encryption technologies to encrypt information exchanged over a wireless or wired network, making it unreadable to outsiders. Protecting yourself with a VPN is one of the few possible and 100% legal ways to protect your data and disappear from mass surveillance agents. This paper discusses ways to ensure the security of data transmission over the Internet using multi-layer tunneling.
