Lambung Mangkurat University (Indonesian: Universitas Lambung Mangkurat) is a public university in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is established on September 1, 1958. Its current rector is Prof. Dr. Soetarto Hadi. It is named after Lambung Mangkurat, the first Negara Dipa's patih (prime minister)..
This study develops a mobile-based learning media to support supervision in physical education and sports training. The development followed seven stages: research design, user needs analysis, application design, development, trial and evaluation, revision, and implementation/dissemination. User requirements were collected from supervisors, coaches, and teachers to determine core functions for supervision, including structured learning modules, activity documentation, evaluation quizzes, scoring logic, and progress monitoring. The application was implemented and piloted in a PJOK teacher working group context, using a pretest-posttest scheme and a usability evaluation based on the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results indicate increased user knowledge after using the application and a mean SUS score of 77, corresponding to a good usability level. The developed media provides practical support for supervision workflows by enabling access to learning materials, standardized evaluation, and progress tracking through a mobile interface. These findings suggest that mobile learning media can improve the efficiency and consistency of supervision practices in physical education and sports training.
The energy crisis and the demand for increasing the new and renewable energy (EBT) mix encourage the utilization of biomass waste as raw material for refuse derived fuel (RDF). Tanah Bumbu Regency has the potential for veneer waste, empty oil palm bunches (EFB), and oil palm fronds that can be converted into valuable alternative energy. This study aimed at analysing the morphological characteristics and elemental composition of the three biomass and determining the most optimal RDF formulation. The study was conducted from August to November 2025 with sampling at PT Hutan Rindang Banua and PT Kodeco Agrojaya Mandiri, and testing at the Integrated Laboratory of Lambung Mangkurat University and UPTD ESDM Banjarbaru. The methods included purposive-composite and duplex sampling techniques, proximate and ultimate tests, calorific value using a bomb calorimeter, RDF briquette production with composition variations A, B, and C, and morphological and structural analysis using SEM and XRD. The results showed the dominance of lignocellulosic structure with carbon content of more than 80% and good porosity, and the highest calorific value was obtained in composition A (veneer 45%, 25% EFB, 20% palm oil palm leaf, 10% plastic) of 7,170.36 kcal/kg, exceeding composition C (7,012.12 kcal/kg) and B (6,949.51 kcal/kg), and far above the minimum standard of RDF co-firing in the cement industry (4.300 kcal/kg). Thus, formulation A is the most optimal RDF composition and local biomass waste has strong potential as a renewable energy source which supports waste management and sustainable energy transition in the industrial sector.
COVID-19 remains a significant public health challenge, particularly for children, despite their lower mortality rates. Vaccination is crucial for controlling the spread of COVID-19; however, coverage among Indonesian children aged 6-11 years remains insufficient. Understanding parental acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination and its associated sociodemographic factors is essential to improving vaccination coverage. This study examines the association between sociodemographic factors and parental acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6-11 years in Indonesia. Using a cross-sectional design, data were collected via an online questionnaire from 400 parents across Indonesia. Sociodemographic characteristics and vaccination acceptance were analyzed using Chi-Square, Fisher's exact, and logistic regression tests. The results revealed a high parental acceptance rate of 93.5% for COVID-19 vaccination. Marital status (p=0.003) was significantly associated with acceptance, with married parents being 2.673 (95% CI 1.389-5.145) times more likely to accept vaccination for their children than single parents. Other sociodemographic factors showed no significant association with vaccination acceptance. These findings underscore the influence of family structure on parental acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination. Understanding sociodemographic influences can inform targeted public health strategies. Future vaccination campaigns should consider family dynamics to ensure equitable access and enhance community resilience.
This study aims at exploring the out-of-class activities employed by the successful and unsuccessful students of the English Department. The activities involve out-of-class general activities and out-of-class English learning activities. The general activities are categorized into academic activities, social activities, leisure activities, and part-time jobs.
Microplastics (MPs) are an emerging pollutant in agricultural irrigation systems, particularly in densely populated regions with intensive land use. This study investigated the distribution, characteristics, and ecological risks of MPs across seven sampling sites within a rural irrigation network. MPs concentrations ranged from 3.1 to 64.3 particles/L, with the highest levels observed at sites receiving domestic runoff and urban channel inputs. Fibers (44
