Although family units migrating together represent a considerable share of migrants in the Americas, there is limited research exploring how migrating with children shapes women's migratory cycles. This study uses new survey data, collected in 2022 from deportees in reception centres in Honduras and El Salvador, to explore how displacement, including transit and return, differed for women migrating with children compared to those without. We analyse these differences across the migration cycle, particularly looking at reasons for migration, logistics of travel and accommodation, perceptions of safety, experiences of violence and abuse, impacts on health and emotional wellbeing, and eventual interception and deportation. The survey findings reveal that, along nearly all dimensions of the journey, the experiences of women migrating with children were markedly different than those migrating without. Importantly, the differences consistently point to the heightened vulnerability of mothers migrating with children, especially solo mothers with children. Quantitative data on these dimensions of the migratory journey are rare, and as such, this unique survey data adds evidence indicating that migrating with children creates an added intersection of vulnerability for many female migrants in Central America.

This paper executes the rigor gate named by the Quantum Traction Theory (QTT) corpus itself (Main Book v10.01, scorecard p. 35): not another expression for the fine-structure constant, but a proof of the uniqueness and minimality of the residual five-rail photon-edge complex behind it. Numerically λ_γ = 0.00252517226324577 and α⁻¹ = 137.035999165998, landing at −0.524σ against CODATA 2022 (137.035999177(21)), with no observed electromagnetic quantity anywhere in the constructor. The proof runs R0–R7: quotient isolation; access lemmas for 8 and ρ/2; one lemma per denominator; the forced sign metric; minimality in both directions; and a published adjacent-exclusion overlay in which every nearby illegal alternative is priced (pulls from 69σ to 1.6×10⁶σ). Version 2.0 adds the isolation theorem — the declared grammar is quantized, with the nearest legal neighbor 13.8σ away, so there is no continuous knob to tune — plus a six-channel observation-closure ledger (pp. 324–331), a quantified inheritance audit through the Higgs ruler, the Artian–UEL master matrix (both of whose gauge inputs are now theorem-grade together with the strong companion, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20625550), and the baryon-asymmetry row; verified page anchors with a full concordance appendix; live deep links into quantumtraction.org; three figures; recount recipes operationalizing falsifier F3; a six-step reproduction path; and a machine-verification appendix whose script regenerates every printed number from π and 1/8 alone. This numerical companion provides reproducible calculations, stability tables, eigenvalue diagnostics, and parameter-scan outputs supporting MetaTime Kernel-Cosmology II. It includes the notebook and numerical outputs used to verify the fixed-point structure, stability properties, and threshold-window behavior discussed in the main paper.

ABSTRACT Background The psychological impact of attending elite boarding schools is of increasing interest to counsellors and psychotherapists. However, little academic research has explored the provision of interventions for supporting current and ex‐boarders. Objectives This scoping review aimed to capture the existing evidence by identifying studies investigating the provision and effectiveness of therapeutic interventions for this population. Methods Included items had to be journal articles in English, from any date, peer‐reviewed, presenting empirical studies conducted in the context of elite boarding schools. Types of studies included were qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods and structured case studies. Included studies had to focus on the provision/experience of delivering or receiving counselling or psychotherapy for current or ex‐boarders. Searches of ProQuest, PsycINFO and EBSCO databases happened on 25 October 2024. Data charted from included studies were citation, aim, methodology, participant population and key findings. Narrative synthesis was used for data analysis. Results Most excluded items did not focus on counselling and psychotherapy (CAP). Of those eligible for inclusion, five related to the provision and effectiveness of CAP and three to the experience of receiving or providing CAP. Included studies came from the USA (4), the UK (2), Malaysia (1) and Indonesia (1), with most presenting cognitive‐behavioural or psychoanalytic approaches. Conclusions Future research is recommended into how and by whom counselling and psychotherapy are provided to children, young people and staff in elite boarding schools, as scant evidence is available. To inform best practice, research is also needed into the efficacy and accessibility of different interventions for adult ex‐boarders.
