This study aims to analyze the effect of live streaming features and content marketing on consumer purchasing decisions on TikTok Shop, focusing on students of Universitas Almuslim. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of Universitas Almuslim students, while the sample included 96 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that, partially, the live streaming feature has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a significance value of 0.024. Furthermore, content marketing also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a significance value of 0.003. Simultaneously, live streaming and content marketing have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.270 indicates that both independent variables explain 27.0% of the variance in purchasing decisions, while the remaining 73.0% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings confirm that consumer purchasing decisions on TikTok Shop are influenced by the quality of digital content and interactive marketing communication.
This study aims to analyze the effect of unemployment and population growth on poverty levels in Indonesia. The research was conducted across 34 provinces during the 2020–2024 period using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The study employed a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis. The best model selection was carried out using the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests, which indicated that the Random Effect Model was the most appropriate. The results show that unemployment has a negative but statistically insignificant effect on poverty levels. This finding suggests that an increase in unemployment does not necessarily lead to higher poverty rates, possibly due to the role of the informal sector and social protection programs that help maintain household purchasing power. In contrast, population growth has a positive and significant effect on poverty levels. Simultaneous testing shows that both variables jointly have a significant effect on poverty, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 3.86 percent, indicating a relatively low contribution to variations in poverty. These results imply that other factors beyond the research variables, such as income inequality, education quality, and access to basic services, have a more dominant influence. The study emphasizes the importance of integrated policies focused on controlling population growth and improving job quality to sustainably reduce poverty rates.
This study aimed to design and evaluate an educational module for tourism destination managers on tourism product development based on Acehnese local wisdom. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The study involved 23 managers of the Payanie Ecotourism destination and three expert validators selected through incidental sampling. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires, tests, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the developed module achieved a very high level of validity in terms of content, language, presentation, graphical design, and usability. The module also demonstrated a high level of practicality, as reflected in learning activity observations, participant engagement, and positive user responses. In addition, the effectiveness evaluation indicated a significant improvement in participants’ learning outcomes, with an average post-test score of 89.13. These findings imply that the module can serve as an effective learning resource for tourism destination managers in developing sustainable tourism products that integrate local cultural values. The study contributes a validated and practical educational module that specifically incorporates Acehnese local wisdom, offering a context-based approach to tourism destination management and sustainable tourism development.
This study aims to evaluate the Non-Financial Reward System in Motivating Millennial Employees at Almuslim University. Millennial generation employees are employees born between 1981-1996 who are now starting to dominate the world of work. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. With the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of the non-financial reward system in increasing the work motivation of millennial employees at Almuslim University. The results of the study explain that there are 46 millennial employees in the Almuslim University environment, a general overview is obtained that female participation in this study is more dominant than male, where the percentage of women is 67.4 percent and men are only 32.6 percent. In terms of age, the majority of respondents are over 35 years old (60.9 percent), while those aged between 31-35 years are 26.1 percent, and the rest are 25-30 years old by 13 percent. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, the significance value obtained is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. This indicates that non-financial rewards have a positive and significant influence on the work motivation of millennial employees at Almuslim University. This means that the better the non-financial reward system implemented, the higher the level of work motivation experienced by employees. The regression coefficient of 0.678 indicates that every one-unit increase in the non-financial reward variable can increase work motivation by 0.678 units.
This study investigates how well students' reading comprehension of descriptive texts is enhanced by an e-comic that incorporates deep learning. The study used a pre-test–post-test control group and a quasi-experimental design. Students from SMPN 3 Bireuen participated in the study; they were split into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. While the control group received traditional reading training, the experimental group was taught using an e-comic that combined deep learning. A reading comprehension exam was containing five indicators—identifying core concepts, comprehending supporting information, vocabulary comprehension, drawing conclusions, and detecting descriptive text structure—was used to gather data. Descriptive statistics and an independent samples t-test were used to assess the data. The results demonstrated that following the treatment, both groups showed improvement. The experimental group continuously scored better than the control group in every reading feature, despite the control group showing a greater numerical rise in overall scores. According to the N-gain analysis, the experimental group outperformed the control group (0.44, medium category) in terms of improvement (0.67, high category). Additionally, the findings showed that the two groups differed statistically significantly (p < 0.05). These results imply that incorporating deep learning into e-comic content improves students' reading comprehension, especially in terms of word comprehension and inferential abilities. Thus, in EFL situations, deep learning-integrated e-comics can be a creative and useful teaching tool.
