Quality consistency in small-scale bread production within SMEs is often challenged by process variability, which affects efficiency and product standards. This study aims to analyze process capability and quality control in bread production using the six sigma approach. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, utilizing production and defect data collected through observation, documentation, and interviews during the period of January – December 2025.Process performance was evaluated using defect per million opportunities (DPMO), sigma level analysis, p-control charts, pareto diagrams, and cause-and-effect (fishbone) diagrams. The result indicate a defect rate of 2.36%, with a DPMO value of 7.870 and sigma level of 3.93, suggesting that the process operates at a moderate capability level and has not yet reached optimal six sigma standar. The most dominant defect include under-expanded bread, burnt products, and non-standard shapes, with primary causes related to human and method factors. Improvement recommendations focus on standardizing fermentation processes, controlling baking temperature and time, and enhancing operator skills through training, with a targeted reduction of defect rates to below 2% and an increase in sigma level toward >4.These findings provide practical implications for SME-scale bread industries in improving product quality consistency , reducing process variability, and strengthening business competitiveness through data-driven quality control implementation.
This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, capital structure, and fixed asset turnover on financial performance in infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2024. The data source of this study is secondary data. The sample in this study amounted to 240 samples obtained from 40 companies over 6 years with a purposive sampling method. This research method uses Descriptive Statistics, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. The results of this study indicate that Liquidity (CR) has a negative and significant effect on the financial performance (ROA) of infrastructure companies, Capital Structure (DER) has a positive and significant effect on the financial performance (ROA) of infrastructure companies, and Fixed Asset Turnover (FATO) has a positive and significant effect on the financial performance (ROA) of infrastructure companies. Simultaneously, Liquidity (CR), Capital Structure (DER), and Fixed Asset Turnover (FATO) affect the financial performance (ROA) of infrastructure companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2024.
New public management represents an innovative paradigm in public administration, emphasizing results achievement, information transparency, and accountability for services to citizens. Performance management serves as the core element to realize this results orientation by measuring inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes of government activities. This study aims to introduce ASN performance management in Indonesia as a manifestation of new public management using a qualitative approach. Findings reveal that rigid bureaucracy and low public service quality continue to impede administrative progress in Indonesia, positioning ASN performance management based on achievements as a strategic solution to enhance employee productivity and overall public service quality.
