Addressing the high risk of infection and mental burden associated with manual mask detection in required settings,this paper proposes a mask detection method based on the Mask R-CNN algorithm.The algorithm initially extracts feature maps from images using a Feature Pyramid Network,then generates proposed regions for detection targets through a Region Proposal Network.After alignment in the RoI Align layer,the results are fed into two parallel networks for final prediction:a fully connected layer for object classification and bounding box regression,and a fully convolutional layer for generating segmentation masks for the targets.These results are then combined and displayed.The method is trained and validated on the public dataset(RMFD),showing that the Mask R-CNN based mask detection method has good accuracy and high distinguishability.

To minimize the damage caused by forest fires,an intelligent firefighting system for key units in forest areas based on Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)is designed.This system employs WSN for comprehensive fire point information collection in critical forest areas.The data is transmitted using Long Range Radio(LoRa)technology,followed by distributed processing of the collected data.During the processing,a fire data self-learning model is developed to reduce the probability of false alarms.System tests indicate that this system can effectively prevent fire damage to key units in forest areas,effectively prevent fires,control existing fires,and maximally protect the lives and property of the people.
