Urban greenspace (UGS) is essential for enhancing urban habitats. To optimize UGS effectively, understanding residents' attribute preferences is crucial. Guided by Bourdieu's theory of practice, this study collected 2685 questionnaires across 122 parks in Beijing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. Employing the choice experiment method, it analyzes residents' preferences for UGS optimization, explores the impacts of capital and habitus heterogeneity on these preferences. The results show that: Residents' preferences for UGS are, in descending order: flowers & ornamental plants, vegetation coverage, service facilities, and biodiversity status; The household income in economic capital, the number of friends in social capital, and the occupation type in symbolic capital all have significant positive effects on residents' preferences for UGS optimization; The nature connection, green justice, and greenspace exposure in habitus features all have significant positive effects on residents' preferences; Income-differentiated and green exposure-differentiated resident groups have different preferences for UGS optimization. These findings will inform urban planners, enabling them to optimize UGS in alignment with residents' values and needs.
Coordinated regional development plays an increasingly important role in promoting low-carbon transitions across China’s urban agglomerations. This study examines the effect of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Coordinated Development Strategy, elevated to major national strategic status in 2014, on urban carbon emissions. Using an unbalanced panel of 294 prefecture-level and higher-level cities from 2010 to 2023, we employ a two-way fixed-effects difference-in-differences model to evaluate the strategy’s overall carbon-mitigation effect, potential transmission pathways, and spatial heterogeneity. The baseline DID coefficient is −0.052, corresponding to a 5.0% decline in city-level total CO2 emissions in the 13 treated cities relative to the national comparison group after policy implementation. Within the same comparison framework, further analysis documents significant positive post-policy differentials in both the industrial-structure-upgrading index and green invention-patent applications; the industrial-structure-upgrading results are consistent with a potential emissions-reduction pathway. The heterogeneity analysis indicates a statistically significant relative carbon-mitigation effect for the prefecture-level cities of Hebei compared with the national comparison group, with a larger relative effect in Beijing and Tianjin. This spatial pattern is consistent with differences in industrial structure, innovation capacity, and environmental governance capacity across cities. The findings provide city-level quasi-experimental evidence that coordinated regional development can promote urban carbon mitigation and support differentiated carbon governance, coordinated industrial upgrading, and cross-regional low-carbon policy design.
Utilizing data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2004 to 2023, this study examines the impact of the policy of new energy demonstration cities on corporate mergers and acquisitions by difference-in-differences model. The empirical results show that the policy significantly promotes green M&A. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that policy effects vary due to the environmental performance, the belonging regions, and the nature of the enterprises. Then, mechanism analysis proves that this policy promotes green M&A by facilitating green innovation, easing financing and reducing information asymmetry. Finally, it is revealed the negative moderating effect of corporate digital transformation on the impact of pilot policy on corporate green M&A. This study provides new insights into the impact path of new energy demonstration city policies on corporate green M&A.
To promote the low-carbon energy transition, China is implementing renewable energy (RE) development policies such as renewable portfolio standards (RPSs), carbon emissions trading (CET) and China certified emission reduction (CCER) trading. However, using China’s current CET price to accurately reflect market information is difficult, which is not conducive to guiding low-carbon investment. Additionally, as RE power enters the era of grid parity, more revenues are needed to maintain generator operations. Therefore, in this study, we construct a system dynamics model to explore whether and how market mechanisms can optimize the power generation structure, and sensitivity analyses of CCER policy parameters are carried out to identify the impact and scope for improvement. The results show that (1) the market mechanism, especially the RPS mechanism, adjusts the profits of power generators, eliciting a surge in RE generation and optimizing the power generation structure; (2) CET and CCER prices change in the opposite direction of tradable green certificates (TGCs) and show a significant improvement effect on the on-grid electricity price; (3) successful implementation of the CCER mechanism can effectively energize the CET market. A lower CCER benchmark price, higher CCER offset ratio and CET fines can accelerate the growth of CCER and CET prices. Therefore, the government should promote TGC separation from power trading and rationally design CCER policies by lowering the CCER credit ratio, increasing CET fines, and expanding CCER market capacity to ensure that the guiding role of the market mechanism is better utilized.
Green perception underlies pro-greenspace behavior, but external stimuli and behavior are not always aligned. Understanding how residents’ perceived external green stimuli influence pro-greenspace behavior, and how the “good citizen” image (face) shapes this relationship, is essential. The study aims to deepen the understanding of the complex mechanisms driving urban residents’ pro-greenspace behavior by constructing an extended Stimulus-Organism-Response theoretical framework (C-SOR) that includes contextual factors. Using data from a 2024 field survey of 959 residents from Shanghai, China, this study employs Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression to examine the main effect of green perception on pro-greenspace behavior. A mediation model is employed to analyze the mediating role of nature connectedness, while a moderation model tests the moderating effect of “good citizen” image (face) on the stimulus–behavior relationship. The results show that green perception significantly promotes pro-greenspace behavior, positively influencing it through nature connectedness. However, the “good citizen” image (face) exerts a motivational crowding-out effect on green perception. Further analysis reveals individual heterogeneity in the expression of these effects across different types of pro-greenspace behavior. The findings highlight the importance of green space experience and the activation of environmental wisdom in traditional culture, offering new perspectives for developing strategies to guide pro-greenspace behavior.
National parks play a crucial role in the worldwide system of natural conservation, significantly influencing land utilization, the sustainability of local livelihoods, and the environmental integrity of nearby regions. In this study, the coupled coordination model and ArcGIS tools are applied to examine the temporal and spatial progression of the coordination of the system of land, the environment, and residents’ livelihoods (the LEL system). The construction of the LEL system and the use of natural geographic and socio-economic data are the main innovations of this research. The findings indicate that over the last 15 years, Wuyishan National Park has witnessed growth in its ecological and agricultural areas alongside a decline in its water-based ecological zones. The creation of the national park has obviously promoted the coordination of the LEL systems in nearby areas and has a significant spatial spillover effect. Consequently, for the upcoming development of Wuyishan National Park, it is crucial to modify the framework of the agricultural sector, enhance local public infrastructure, and bolster the safeguarding of water ecological areas.
The urban forest is not only an essential part of maintaining the security of the urban ecosystem but also an important restorative environmental site that benefits the physical and mental health of residents. In this research, a natural experiment was designed in Beijing in order to evaluate the urban forest environment in terms of visual, auditory, and olfactory senses, and the effects of psychosocial restoration in urban forest environments were tested. On this basis, a Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model was structured to verify the “environment-perception-restoration mechanism”. The findings showed that the urban forest environment was the main cause of the differences in residents’ psychological restoration and the natural environment perception, while the natural environment perception directly impacted residents’ psychological restoration and mediated the relationship between the urban forest environment and psychological restoration. Therefore, Beijing needs to further optimize the landscape, sound, smell, and other environmental elements of urban forests and create a peaceful and spacious urban forest open space, considering the environmental perception preferences of urban residents, to improve the psychological restoration effect of urban forests.
文章以中国实施的碳交易试点政策为准自然实验,基于2001—2019年中国30个省份的面板数据,运用双重差分法与中介效应模型评估了中国碳交易试点政策对生态福利绩效的影响,并探讨了其理论机制.研究表明:碳交易试点政策的实施对试点省份生态福利绩效的提升具有显著而持续的推动作用,且东部地区的政策实施效果要优于中西部地区.此外,碳交易试点政策主要通过市场激励型环境规制与能源消费结构清洁转型进而提升生态福利绩效;而技术创新的生态福利绩效提升效果不显著.
财政科技投入是科技创新的重要保障,科技创新是提高生态效率、推进高质量发展的第一动力.文章利用1999—2019年我国30个省份的面板数据,采用SBM模型测算了我国生态效率,利用中介效应模型检验了财政科技投入对生态效率提升的影响及机制.研究结果表明:(1)财政科技投入显著促进了生态效率提高.东中部地区财政科技投入显著促进了生态效率提高,西部地区则不明显.(2)财政科技投入显著促进了科技创新能力提升,东部地区以促进中高端科技创新为主,中部地区以促进高、中、低端科技创新为主,西部地区以促进中低端科技创新为主.(3)财政科技投入主要通过影响科技创新促进生态效率提高,东中部地区分别通过中高端、高端科技创新促进生态效率提升,西部地区则不明显.
Technological progress is an important way to achieve carbon emission reduction, and its effect on the carbon emission effect of forest products trade in China needs to be further explored. Based on this,we selected woody forest products as a typical representative of forest products, and used the data of 27provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities from 2010 to 2019 in China to establish a dynamic panel model to explore the impact of wood forest product trade on carbon emissions in China through systematic GMM method, and analyzed the mechanism of different technological progress paths. The results show that the direct effect of trade in forest products leads to the increase of carbon emissions from forest products, which has a negative impact on the environment. While the technical effect has a positive impact, the technical aspects such as utilization efficiency still need to be improved. The intermediate effect test of the technology introduction path is established, while the independent innovation is not conspicuous, and it is confirmed that technological progress does not play an “intermediary role ”, but suppresses the direct negative impact of foreign trade on the environment instead. Based on the abovementioned findings, we made further prospects for the sustainable development of forest products trade of China.
The research evidence about factors influencing household dependency on forest resources is a crucial step to initiate and implement a good forest management policy to enhance sustainable forest management strategies where existing forests have been degraded and deforested over time. Therefore, this paper analyzes the economic contribution of forests to total annual household income and factors that influence household dependence on forest resources in Munessa-Shashemene, Ethiopia. The socio-economic and forest use data were collected from 200 randomly selected households, eight key informants, and six focused group discussions. This study used multiple linear and logistic regression models to analyze the factors affecting household dependence on forest resources. Some descriptive statistics were also employed to analyze the economic contribution of forest resources to households’ total annual income. The results revealed that the estimated annual average income from the forest was 16,048.5ETB (USD 291.79), accounting for 38.12
城市绿色空间作为最公正的公共产品,应打造最普惠的民生福祉,以满足人民日益增长的美好生活需要.文中基于天津市938份城市居民微观调查数据,运用有序Logit回归模型与中介效应模型探讨社会经济地位对特大城市居民绿色公平感知的影响及其作用机制.研究发现:1)不同社会群体间存在绿色公平感知的分化,且呈现出由中心城区向城市外围不断蔓延的趋势.2)社会经济地位能够显著影响居住时间较长、年龄较高社会群体的绿色公平感知,且不同居住时长与不同年龄阶段的社会群体间存在绿色公平感知的异质性.3)绿色租金溢价在社会经济地位影响城市居民绿色公平感知的过程中起到中介作用.因此,应从调控住房绿色租金溢价、调整绿色空间规划策略以及注重城市边缘区绿化改造三方面,进行有意识的反"绿色绅士化",以促进全民共享绿色福祉.
基于2011-2019年中国省际面板数据,借助系统GMM和中介效应模型,从林业投资来源和去向两个视角出发,实证分析了林业投资对城市居民绿色福利的影响及影响路径.研究结果表明:①林业投资来源与各地区的森林资源禀赋紧密相关,且林业社会投资比林业财政投资更具效率性.引入森林资源禀赋后,林业财政投资、林业社会投资每提高1%,绿色福利分别提升10.414%和122.42%.②林业投资去向对城市居民绿色福利具有显著的提升作用.其中,林业生态建设与保护投资、林业支撑与保障投资以及林业基础设施建设投资每提高1%,绿色福利分别提升0.047%、0.021%和0.0147%,而林业产业发展投资对绿色福利的影响取决于其"正负效应"的大小.③对影响路径的研究发现,林业投资可以通过改善生态环境、促进经济增长从而提升绿色福利,同时也会通过降低居民消费水平以避免绿色福利损失.因此,林业投资来源应鼓励吸纳社会资本,林业投资去向应积极引导产业发展,从源头和末端两处着手,以更有效地提升城市居民绿色福利.
Global energy crisis and climate change have caused widespread concern about the development of the biomass energy industry. China has committed to exploring feasible policies to promote the development of the biomass energy industry. To analyze the impact of China’s energy tax subsidy policy (ETS) on the development of densified biomass fuel (DBF) industry, this study constructs a partial equilibrium model of the densified biomass fuel industry sector to quantitatively evaluate and optimize the effect of China’s current ETS policy based on the compilation of input–output table for the biomass energy industry sector in China. The results indicate that 1) under the current policy scenario, the price of DBF in China decreased by 15.05%, the supply increased by 40.75%, and the demand increased by 18.62%, while the price of raw biomass (RB) decreased by 14.75%, the supply increased by 42.44%, and the demand increased by 29.41%, and the revenue of enterprises increased by 20.42%. However, compared to China’s 13th Five-Year Plan national DBF development target, there is still a supply and demand gap of 16,560,549 tons. 2) under the optimized policy scenario premised on accomplishing the Chinese government’s DBF development goals, the price of DBF in China decreased by 6.9%, supply increased by 128.5%, and demand increased by 44.5%, while the price of raw biomass decreased by 7.84%, supply increased by 133.34%, demand increased by 45.71%, and corporate earnings rose by 112.1% but required the government to pay extremely high tax benefits and financial subsidies for this, which is not feasible in actual economic operation. Therefore, to support the sustainable development of the DBF industry, relevant departments should not only set the mandatory total target but also pursue production quality and market construction.
在推进国家生态文明建设、践行"两山"理论以及推进林业高质量发展的背景下,林业技术经济学发展迎来了新机遇,同时也迈入了发展变革的关键阶段.文章在梳理我国林业技术经济学发展历程与研究进展的基础上,运用CiteSpace软件对中国知网(CNKI)的核心期刊、CSSCI期刊1980-2021年间的1101篇文献进行可视化分析,并针对该学科新发展理念、新发展方向的不断拓展以及该学科发展建设水平的不断提升提出了未来展望.研究发现:从学科发展历程来看,我国林业技术经济学研究主要经历了引进与模仿的酝酿阶段(20世纪50-60年代)、内化与吸收的创立兴起阶段(20世纪70-90年代)以及拓展与创新的蓬勃发展阶段(21世纪以来).从研究成果来看,我国林业技术经济学研究经历了从直线式上升到螺旋式下降再到缓慢式增长的阶段,虽然现阶段研究成果日趋丰富,但仍存在高质量论文较少、高价值专利缺乏以及论文引用量不高等问题;从研究内容来看,我国林业技术经济学已呈现出多学科视角、多元化主题与多学科交叉趋势,但理论研究与实践应用还有待进一步深化.文章从拓宽学科发展路径、拓展学科发展领域与提高学科建设水平等方面,对我国林业技术经济学的未来发展进行探索与展望,以把握林业技术经济学发展机遇、直面林业技术经济学发展挑战、创新林业技术经济学发展变革,从而更好地服务于国家重要战略部署.
Urban green space (UGS) planning and design can not only influence economic development and the ecological environment but also have a significant impact on urban public health. Facing the increasingly serious public health crisis in megacities, promoting environmental justice in UGS, and improving the health and well-being of urban residents have become critical issues to be addressed in response to the global urban sustainable devel-opment goals (SDGs). Using data from a survey of 682 residents in the central district of Tianjin, we constructed a structural equation model based on theoretical analyses of spatial justice, social stratification, and Rawls' theory to reveal injustices in the accessibility of health benefits of UGS among residents of different socioeconomic status (SES) and explore the ways in which SES affects residents' health and well-being via UGS. The results indicate that: (1) Increasing the intensity of green space exposure can improve residents' health and well-being, but due to the urban green space premium effect, inequities exist among residents of different SES in enjoying the health benefits of UGS, thus deepening health inequality in megacities. (2) SES can influence residents' health and well-being through three paths: "green premium mechanism", "green exposure mechanism", and "green chain mechanism", and green space premium and green space exposure play a mediating role in the influence of SES on residents' health and well-being. (3) To promote environmental justice in UGS, provide urban human care, and guarantee public health equality, the UGS in China's megacities needs to be further explored in terms of UGS layout optimization, service quality improvement, and management system guarantee.
为克服常权权重不能精准刻画生态和经济复杂交互关系的缺陷,结合变权理论和DPSIRM因果框架,构建了包含6个子系统、23个具体指标的中国森林生态安全评价体系.基于2006~2018年的中国统计年鉴数据、林业统计年鉴数据及相关数据资料,运用K-means聚类法和变权理论对中国大陆31个省(市、自治区)(不包含台湾、香港、澳门)的森林生态安全状况进行评价.结果 表明:(1)在研究时期内,基于DPSIRM因果框架的中国森林生态安全总指数呈现"W"型总体上升的小幅波动趋势;(2)经过变权处理后,状态子系统平均权重最大达到0.0781,管理和响应子系统次之,分别达到0.0728和0.0640,管理子系统平均得分呈"N"型变化趋势,与其他子系统相互作用显著,对森林生态安全具有全局性影响.(3)研究期内,大部分省(市、自治区)森林生态安全综合评估值呈现平稳上升或先降后升趋势,仅有辽宁、西藏等地区波动下降.区域森林生态安全状况差异明显,西南地区平均得分最高达0.3414,西北、华东、华中地区平均得分远低于各地区平均水平0.2794.(4)中国的森林生态安全状况整体呈改善趋势,但各省(市、自治区)之间森林生态安全状况呈现严重分化现象,传统林业优势地区森林生态安全状况较好,而经济高速发展地区的森林生态风险较大.建议在未来的森林生态安全管理中需重点关注生态脆弱区和经济发达地区,在加强现有森林资源保护的基础上,继续大力实施和推进林业生态恢复工程建设.
Green space, mainly forests, shrubs, and grasslands, provides essential ecosystem services for human well-being. Based on multi-source data and using the Maximum Entropy model and Geographical Information System (GIS) tools, this research comprehensively assesses the supply and demand of recreational services from green space in Beijing. The supply of recreational services in Beijing is influenced by natural and human factors, showing large spatial variability. The supply level of mountainous areas with good natural geographical conditions and intact ecological landscape is significantly higher than that of plain areas with reduced vegetation and overexploitation. Residents have a high demand for recreational services in green space landscape and low demand in non-green space landscape. The quantitative balance pattern of supply and demand varies greatly, and most areas show the state of undersupply. The spatial matching pattern of supply and demand varies significantly too, and the mismatch is apparent. Spatial allocation should be more carefully considered than the aggregated supply and demand. Differentiated development strategies such as ecological reshaping, ecological development, restoration, and protection should be implemented for different areas in the future of planning and management in urban green areas. This will optimize and balance the supply-demand matching pattern for recreational services and promote the effective improvement of ecosystem service functions and residents' ecological welfare.
运用我国19个玉米主产区省份的2004~2018年面板数据,采用双重差分法,分析价补分离政策对农民种粮收入的影响,进行稳健性检验.研究发现,价补分离政策抑制了东北三省和内蒙古地区农民种粮收入增长.进一步分析发现,生产效应机制对农民种粮收入增长有抑制作用,产业结构和市场联动机制对农民种粮收入有促进作用,结论具有较好的稳健性.建立农民合理增收机制,加大玉米产业链机构投资者的参与度,开放玉米市场化收购资金筹集方式,是促进农民种粮收入增长的切入点.
