By the methods of catching and photographing to get the bird’s sample,we analyzed the percent-age of juvenile Black-headed Gull in 3 areas of Dianchi Lake.Sampled and Black-headed Gull banding was car-ried at Haigeng dam of Dianchi Lake.During January 2011,January and February 2012,December 2012,and March 2013,we captured 131、339 and 475 gulls,respectively.Photo sampling carried at Green Park,Haigeng Dam and Baiyukou in January,February and December of 2013.Every season and every site,there 1000 birds were pictured.With consulting a lot of data,the percentage of juvenile Black-headed Gull in Dianchi Lake and population quantity were investigated.The result showed that,in the periods of2010,2011,2012and 2013 win-tering,ratio of Juvenile was 23.7%,33.6%,48.9%,43.1%,respectively.Among them,the ratio of Juven-ile was increased significantly.Moreover,population quantity had maintained increasing,especially in 1992、2002、2010,the increase was jumped.Base on the ration of juvenile and increase regulation of population quanti-ty,we predicted the population of Black- headed Gull wintering in Dianchi Lake would be increased greatly in next a few years.
洱海地处云南西部,是中国西部候鸟迁徙时的重要停息地和越冬地,但其湖滨带鸟类组成与季节变化尚无专门研究.作者于2011年1月(冬季)、3和4月(春季)、7月(夏季)、10和11月(秋季)采用样线法对洱海湖滨带的鸟类多样性进行了调查,在洱海西岸湖滨带共设4条调查样线,总长度48.2 km,冬夏季节各进行2d共4次调查,春秋各进行4d共8次调查.共记录到鸟类13目38科115种,其中有国家Ⅱ级重点保护鸟类7种;留鸟61种,夏候鸟7种,冬候鸟39种,旅鸟8种;按生态类群分,有游禽19种,涉禽22种,猛禽7种,陆禽3种,攀禽8种,鸣禽56种.研究结果表明,秋季的鸟类物种数及多样性指数最高,夏季均匀性指数最高.5类生境中,树林灌丛生境的鸟类多样性和均匀性最高;近岸水域鸟类个体数量最多.依据调查结果,建议沿环湖公路营造更多树林,在适宜地点建造滩涂,将有利于鸟类栖息觅食.
2010年10月至2012年11月作者在云南省香格里拉县和会泽县等地进行鸟类调查时,先后观察记录到高原山鹑(Perdix hodgsoniae)和白鹤(Grus leucogeranus),经查阅相关文献(杨岚等1995,2005,杨晓君2009,郑光美2011),确认这两种鸟为云南省鸟类新纪录,现报道如下。1高原山鹑
Bird survey was carried out in western bank region of Erhai Lake in Yunnan Province. Five transects were set in agricultural region during winter,spring,summer and autumn of 2011 to record the species composition,number and habitat of birds. Finally,a total of 87 species belonging to 25 families and 11 orders were documented. The result showed that the highest level of species diversity was in autumn. Additionally,the birds diversity of shelter forest habitat was the highest among 8 detected habitats. The number of birds was calculated based on the amount of birds per hour and the results were 70. 71 in spring,79. 36 in summer,76. 65 in autumn and 70. 37 in winter.
Nests,eggs and nest site choice of the black-throated tit Aegithalos concinnus in Zixi Mountain Nature Reserve,Yunnan Province were surveyed from 2009 to 2010 in the spring breeding season and all the relevant features were recorded.Among the 34 nests totally found,24 were nested in the brushes of Berberis kunmingensis tree species,8 were nested in Cryptomeria fortunei tree branches.The Principal Compositional Analysis(PCA) on elevation,gradient and other 13 factors related to nesting locality of the black-throated tit indicated that the principal factors affecting the nest site choice of the bird were ordered as the hiding factor relief safety food nest tree species.The study also showed that 76.0% of the nests were open to the eastern direction.
Foraging difference of blue-tailed bee-eaters was observed with focal animal sampling at Nujiang Valley from April to May, 2010, and April to June, 2011. Variety, quantity, success rate of foraging, food composition and resource, success rate and time of feeding process were recorded in this study. The results showed that blue-tailed bee-eaters preyed mainly on seven groups of insects, especially focusing on Hymenoptera, Odonate and Lepidoptera. Foraging frequencies of adult male birds were higher than those of female adult birds and young birds. There were no significant differences between adult and young birds in factors of success rate of food process, but adult birds were higher in success rate of foraging and lower in time of food process than young birds.
Tree-species preferences of Giant Nuthatch during Spring were examined by observing foraging behavior of Giant Nuthatch(Sitta magna) in Zixi Mountain nature reserve,Chuxiong,Yunnan Province from March to May,2010.Foraging tree-species,foraging tree trunk size and foraging positions were studied by all-occurrence recording.The results showed that Giant Nuthatch mainly foraged on Yunnan Pine(Pinus yunnanensis),the preference index is 43.89 which was much higher than other species' preference index.97.46% of foraging time and 96.54% of feeding times were recorded on Yunnan Pine.Both of foraging time and feeding times were significantly different between Yunnan Pine and other species(P0.01).Bigger Yunnan Pine were preferred,95.60% of feeding times occurred on trunks that bigger than 15 cm in diameter.Among Yunnan Pines' main trunks,branches,sticks and needle-leaves,61.32% of foraging time and 57.02% of feeding times were recorded on trunks.There was an extremely significant difference between trunk and the other 3 parts(P0.01).Interspecific competition,insect species and abundance and morphological characteristics may be the reason of those selections for Giant Nuthatch.
