In order to pick out better characteristic tabacco series,choosing tabacco strain of Honghuadajinyuan as comparison.We did compared research on growth stages,Botanical characteristics,agronomic traits,disease resistance,economic characters,chemical constitution and aroma and flavor of tobacco In six tabacco breeds and series,including Honghuadajinyuan1,Honghuadajinyuan 2,Va116,GY2,GY8 and Yunyan 87 in seven breeds and series,including compared breeds.The results showed that the best comprehensive appearance is the GY8.The best quality is the three Honghuadajinyuan series,and the appearance quality and inner quality also is the best.In this three breeds of Honghuadajinyuan series,there are more advantages of Honghuadajinyuan 1and 2,besides the advantages of original the Honghuadajinyuan,such as more leaves,enhancing ability of resisting Bacterial Wilt and Tobacco Black Shank,chemical constitution more harmonized,good fragrant and quality,and improved obvious efficiency of planting tabacco.The Honghuadajinyuan 2 which is certificated by nation as characteristic breeds will be chosen for planting.

In order to accurately identify the characteristics of new flue-cured tobacco varieties breeded in Guizhou,which provide scientific proofs for the cognizance and spread of varieties,13 new flue-cured tobacco lines were tested with plot experiments in different ecological areas in Guizhou in 2010.The results showed that in according with the current status of tobacco leaf production in Guizhou and the request of industry company for tobacco leaf materials,based on the analysis of the agronomic characteristcis,economic traits,disease resistance,the intrinsic quality of flue-cured tobacco leaf and smoking quality of the tested varieties,Bina-1 was considered the potential variety in future tobacoo leaf production,GY0802,GY0905,A10 Guiyan-1 were with some potential but need further experiment to confirm.

The K326,Yunyan85,NC82 and Hongda varieties were planted in Qianxi of Guizhou province in 2006,and some indexes,such as biological characters,yield,crackajack tobacoo ratio were analyzed.The results showed that Yunyan 85 and K326 had better ecological adaptability than the other varieties,and the economic character of Hongda was bad for the reason of flue-cured skill and etc.
