The field stady of the feeding and oviposition preference of Apriona swainsoni in nubde showed that the feeding and oviposition amount on Sopora japonica and Robinia pseudoacacia,were the biggest while just a few emerged on Koelreuteria paniculata,but nothing on Salix babylonica.The result of trap test showed that using distillate of twigs and foliage of S.japonica can monitor A.swainsoni in a wide range,each trap could catch 7.42 heads of A.swainsoni weekly on the average.The research laid the foundation for clarification of host range of A.swainsoni and would provide scientific and theoretic basis for further research for plant attractants.

通过样地法、Poolard路线样带法对山东泰山蝶类生物多样性的调查,共发现蝶类40种,隶属7科31属.新记录种一种:尖角黄粉蝶(Eurema laeta Boisduval);国家二级保护种一种:冰清绢蝶(Parnassivs glacialis Butler).垂直分布情况随海拔高度的升高种类数呈下降趋势.区系分析表明,泰山蝶类以古北界、东洋界共有种为主.

The weevil Pseudorobitis gibbus Redtenbacher(Coleoptera:Apionidae) is a new and important pest of Lagerstroemia indica.P.gibbus is univoltine with only one generation per year and in Tai'an overwinters as either dormant larvae or adults.Winter larva turn into pupa the following May and emerging adults were found in middle to late June.Eggs are laid between late July and mid-August.The proportion of fruits damaged by larvae was >60%;sufficient to pose a threat to the ornamental value and reproduction of L.indica.Adult P.gibbus assume the characteristics of anabiosis;slight phototaxis and weak endurance of hunger,usually for 36 hours.Adults are attracted to sweet substances,such as nectar,but are repelled by acidic substances.The planting of L.indica is increasing the geographic dispersion of P.gibbus which now poses a threat to L.indica in Shandong Province,neighboring provinces and the rest of the country.Physical means of prevention and control are recommended.Biological measures used to control P.gibbus include the introduction of natural enemies and sexual attractants.

Pseudorobitis gibbus attacked the twigs,flowers and fruits of Lagerstroemia indica as adults and larvae.In Tai'an and Zaozhuang of Shandong Province,the population density was 2.16 weevils per fruit and the average infestation rates on Lagerstroemia indica and its capsules were 93% and 40.11% respectively,which seriously influenced the flowering and fruiting of Lagerstroemia indica and decreased the ornamental value of its flowers.The morphological characteristics,harm and occurrence of the weevil were introduced and the control measures were suggested.

Hapsifera barbata Christoph mainly damages robinia in Shandong Province.However,after the investigation on the pest of Sophora japonica Linn.,it was found that they also seriously and widly damaged Sophora japonica Linn.In this paper,its damage to Sophora japonica Linn.,occurrence regularity,living habit,enphytotic characteristics and the relationship between its occurrence and environmental factors were introduced.
