20 representative roads in the New Hexi District of Nanjing were selected to analyze their landscape characteristics in terms of ecological function and visual quality.12 main landscape factors were identified as indicators for integrated assessment through qualitative and quantitative analyses.The assessment showed that the quality of the plant landscapes of the roads was above gradeⅢ.Measures for further improving the landscapes of roads were proposed based on the assessment results.
