Objective:To analyze the clinical symptoms,mental status and quality of life of spleen and stomach damp-heat functional constipation(FC)patients.Methods:Sixty patients diagnosed as spleen and stomach damp-heat FC were recruited from China-Japan Friendship Hospital gastroenterology clinic,from February 2012 to March 2013.The record of symptoms,Zung's Self-assessment of Anxiety Scale(SAS),Zung's Self-assessment of Depression scale(SDS)and Short Form-36 questionnaire(SF-36)were executed,to observe and analyze the mental status and quality of life of FC patients.Results:The top four most common symptoms were endless defecation feeling(93.33%),unfluent bowel movements(92.00%),straining(86.67%),sticky stools(84.00%).Compared with the control group,FC patients were easier to feel anxious and depressed(P<0.01).Six dimensions of SF-36 scores of FC patients were significantly lower than the control group on physical function(PF),role physical(RP),vitality(VT),general health(GH),mental health(MH),social function(SF)(all P<0.05).Conclusion:FC patients have typical symptoms.Some FC patients feel anxious and depressed related to lower quality of life.
Objective:To investigate the effect of Fuzheng Zengxiao Prescription and arilin on gene expression profiles of Lung Adenocarcinoma in radiotherapy,we use microarray to screen the differentially expressed genes and genes co-expression.Methods:RNA was extracted from cancer tissues of Group B(radiation group),Group C(radiation and Fuzheng Zengxiao Prescription group)and Group D(radiation and arilin group),then marked by Cy5-dCTP or Cy3-dCTP respectively,and hybridized with oligonucleotide microarrays containing 38500 genes to screen the differentially expressed genes.Results:Differentially expressed genes were found between Group C and Group B,Group D and Group B.A total of 857 genes were differently expressed between Group C and Group B.349 genes were up-regulated and 508 were down-regulated.It was notable that 39 genes were accessed in GenBank.In significantly differential genes,15 up-regulated and 21 down-regulated were related to apoptosis,transcription regulation,signal transduction,cell cycle,DNA damage and repair and immune response;THRA was identified as extremely differently expressed gene.A total of 47 differentially expressed genes were found between Group D and Group B.3 genes significantly differently expressed had functions related to DNA damage and repair,transcription regulation,signal transduction.Only RARA gene was differentially expressed in Group C and Group D.Conclusion:Different gene expression profiles demonstrated that different mechanisms were involved in the effect of Chinese and western medicine on radiosensitization.Screened differentially expressed genes and genes co-expression will promote the exploration of radiosensitization medicines and establishment of radiosensitization animal models.
<正>患者女性,31岁。因乳糜性胸水反复发作无法控制,于2006年5月23日入我院治疗。患者于2002年9月行腹部MRI检查后,发现腹膜后巨大占位性病变(图1见插页),无法手术切除,自行服用中药。2003年1月,肺CT发现双肺弥漫性间质性病变。2004年4月腹盆腔CT示:腹腔积液,团块大小约4cm×9.5cm×22cm,腔静脉旁见数枚结节样影,胸腔积液。中药调方继服。2005年11月,患者出现胸闷,紫绀。当地医院予以胸腔穿刺引流胸水,每日引流乳糜样胸水约1500ml,共引流约10000ml。
Adipose tissue is no longer the storage organ of adipose,but an active endocrine organ.The serum concentration of adiponectin is inversely associated with the fat volume.Adiponectin appears to be connected with not only glucose and lipid metabolism,but also with various types of cancers as well.Accumulating clinical and foundermental evidences indicate that many cancer patients get a low serum adiponectin concentration and tumor cells express adiponectin receptors.So there may be many ways to induce tumor,such as binding to adiponectin receptors to activate the signalling cascade downstream,direct action on tumor cells,antiangiogenesis,inducing tumor cell apoptosis and many other mechanisms to regulate cell proliferation.Studies of adiponectin biology can provide new insights into the association of obesity with cancer risk.
