The authors analyse changes in exposure load and associated occupational risk, health state of workers engaged into contemporary polyvinyl chloride production. Consideration covered objective parameters--results of thorough medical examinations -and subjective ones--results of quantitative risk evaluation of general pathologic syndromes and life quality caused by health state. The latter were compared with general working population unexposed to the hazards. Findings are statistically significant increase of functional disorders risk connected with cardiovascular and nervous diseases. Correlation was found between cardiovascular diseases prevalence and exposure chemical load. Statistically significant differences were seen in all life quality components between the workers groups compared.

The article presents the results of the dynamic clinical observation for persons suffered from occupational chronic mercury intoxication in the remote post-exposure period of the disease. The estimation of the dynamics of syndrome manifestations of chronic mercury intoxication and co-morbidity are presented. The important role of mercury exposure load as a predictor of deterioration of actual health of the patients in the remote period of intoxication is demonstrated.
This study aimed to reveal the health disorder peculiarities in the employees of the modern production ofepichlorohydrin (EPCH) based on using the automatized system of the quantitative risk assessment of the main common pathological syndromes (RMCPS) and the results of medical examinations performed in dynamics. The working conditions of the employees working at the production of epichlorohydrin are characterized by a complex of the unfavorable production factors among which the employees exposure to epichlorohydrin (EPCH) end allyl chloride (AC), the substances of class 2 of danger, is known to have the main hygienic importance. At present the category of occupational risk in chemical factor is considered as low and middle, this is stipulated by the significant decrease in the concentrations of harmful substances in the air of the working zone (EPCH-up to 0.5 LAC, AC - up to 0,3 LAC). It was found that in the structure of RMCPS the risks of the functional disorders of the cardio-vascular system, the portion of which was significantly found to increase (from 17,7 to 27,2 % respectively) in dynamics, were revealed as the higher percent in the employees examined in both the first and the second study periods. The risk prevalence features have been revealed in the persons of the main occupations. So, the statistically significant increase in the risk cases of the neurological and border psychical disorders, the functional disorders of the cardio-vascular and endocrine systems was observed to be in the fitters-repairers, unlike the operators of mechanical devices, by the second study period. In dynamics of medical examinations the increase in the incidence levels relatively to the diseases of the circulatory system was noted to occur in all the occupational groups including the portion of the persons who had often ill feeling. The most statistically significant levels of the incidence including the diseases of the circulatory system as well as the nervous system and the psychical disorders were found to be in the occupational group of the fitters-repairers. The occupational risk assessment taking into account the occupation and the exposure toxic load with allyl chloride and epichlorohydrin has shown that in the both study periods the largest exposure load to the toxicants was revealed in the fitters-repairers, thereby, this load was statistically significant higher in the fitters and engineering staff compared to the operators of mechanical devices in both the first and the second examination periods. The statistically significant increase in the health disorder risks was revealed in these employees in dependence on the values of the exposition load with the toxicants. Studying the health state in the employees taking into account the exposition toxic loads has allowed to correlate the organism changes revealed to the cumulative exposure to the chemical pollutants as well as to ground the need of using this index to reveal the production - stipulated and occupational diseases.
There was observed medical-psychological and social aspects of professional adaptation of staff of criminal-executive system, was given evaluation of conditions of their work. Was learned risk of damage of health, adaptational potential, personal peculiarities of staff Was learned valuable-motivation sphere, self-concept of competitionability, type of life position, several elements of mode of life of the staff. Was educed decreasing of adaptational capabilities, high personal anxiety and low stress firmness among high number of young specialists. Was formed an apprehension about effectiveness of their professional adaptation in conditions of absence of system of dynamic medical-psychological observe and prophylactic measures.

Risks of the main pathologic syndromes, social-psychological characteristics, value-motivational sphere and manifestation of burnout in engineers-designers of flying devices and electronics with a different degree of expressiveness of professional creative activity are investigated. It is shown, that external social-psychological are factors as determinants of burnout and risks of health deterioration, prevalence of symptoms of burnout depend on a degree of creative activity.
This work has shown that a complex of toxic substances to which the fire fighters-liquidators organisms may be exposed can exert the neurotropic effects forming the negative medical-psychological consequences a long-term period after the fire. They are expressed as the progressive processes of the nervous system diseases including the common brain disorders and the middle structure dysfunctions, the accelerated biological aging rates, emotional-personality sphere disintegration, attention-mnemic sphere disorders, all this prevents from the further social adaptation among the sufferers.
Evaluating occupational health risk in workers engaged into chemical industry. The authors evaluated long-term dynamics of air pollution with toxic chemicals at chemical enterprises producing caustic soda, vinylchloride and polyvinylchloride. Peculiarities of the work conditions were revealed. Calculating dose load with length of service helped to relate health disorders in the workers with accumulated influence of chemical pollutants on the working environment.
: In the area polluted by the man-caused mercury in the Angara River reservoir, there is fish accumulation of the toxic substance in the quantities exceeding the standard values by 2-4 times. The psychological characteristics of the persons exposed to mercury load due to fish ingestion were studied. A screening survey revealed the high situational and personality anxiety in 33.9 +/- 6.2 and 53.9 +/- 6.2% of the examinees, respectively. Lower logical and abstract thinking abilities were observed in 92.7 +/- 2.8% of the respondents. Poorer attention, significant fatiguability, and distraction were seen. According to the level of mercury in the biosubstrates, a risk group (n = 26) was formed, which was examined in the inpatient setting. The high prevalence of emotional instability and neurotism was revealed. When examined by a psychiatrist, 9 persons were recognized as apparently healthy. It is necessary to continue studies to objectivize the conclusion that small-dose methylmercury affects mental health.

The authors evaluate efficiency of occupational adaptation of the youth.
