经历传统时期、集体化时期的“小我服从大我”模式后,社会转型期的个体与集体关系形态有待研究.文章运用集个体化研究、维权研究、分类研究分析范式优势于一体的集体意识与个体的自主性框架,分析汶川震后乡村社区居民的个体与集体意识的关系,并对国家意识、社群意识、个体的自主性三个维度进行探索性因素分析得到“国家意识”“社群意识”“屈从集体”“集体冷漠”四个因子.在此基础上,文章进行聚类分析,区隔出精英、中层、游离者、底层四个群体,呈现了社会转型期“小我服从大我”与“个人自主”并存的个体与集体关系格局.
Computational social science has integrated social science theories and methodology with big data analysis. It has opened a number of new topics for big data analysis and enabled qualitative and quantitative sociological research to provide the ground truth for testing the results of data mining. At the same time, threads of evidence obtained by data mining can inform the development of theory and thereby guide the construction of predictive models to infer and explain more phenomena. Using the example of the Internet data of China's venture capital industry, this paper shows the triadic dialogue among data mining, sociological theory, and predictive models and forms a methodology of big data analysis guided by sociological theories.
This paper uses a network dynamics model to explain the formation of a small-world network with an elite-clique. This network is a small-world network with an elite-clique at its center in which elites are also the centers of many small groups. These leaders also act as bridges between different small groups. Network dynamics are an important research topic due to their ability to explain the evolution of network structures. In this paper, a Chinese Venture Capital (VC) network was coded from joint investments between VC firms and then analyzed to uncover its network properties and factors that influence its evolution. We first built a random graph model to control for factors such as network scale, network growth, investment frequency and syndication tendency. Then we added a partner-selection mechanism and used two theories to analyze the formation of network structure: relational embeddedness and structural embeddedness. After that, we ran simulations and compared the three models with the actual Chinese VC network. To do this we computed the elite-clique's EI index, degree distribution, clustering coefficient distribution and motifs. Results show that adding embeddedness theories significantly improved the network dynamic model's predictive power, and help us uncover the mechanisms that affect the formation of a small-world industrial network with an elite-clique at its center.

From the perspective of social network analysis, this paper studies the relationships between the sports participation, individual social capital and physical health of villagers in the process of reconstruction after Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008 . The results indicate that the people who take part in the sports activities have a higher individual social capital and health level than those who do not. Through regression analysis demonstrate that sports participation can significantly improve the villagers' individual social capital and physical health level. This paper further researches their mechanism. While there are some deficiencies in this study, we have empirically explored the topics about social capital in the field of sociology of sport with network ideas.
