The aim of this study was to make a risk estimation of reproductive pathology among women, who work in a factory of nuclear industry under the long term exposure to low dose ionizing radiation. The medical examination of female personnel of Siberian chemical plant was performed. The ionizing radiation feature and individual associated factors were considered. In the result several risk factors of reproductive pathology were revealed. These were the age of women at the time of starting their exposure and the length of exposure. In the case of starting the exposure of low dose gamma irradiation in early childbearing age the risk of reproductive pathology was doubled and did not depend on the total dose of irradiation.

The frequency and structure of the reproductive system diseases of the woman-workers, who occupied in nuclear industry and who were exposed to ionizing radiation over the small dose range (main group, n=424), were compared with analogous data, which were obtained from woman-workers, who were exposed to unhealthy chemical agents (group of inner control, n=556) and woman-workers who weren't exposed to hazardous industrial factors (group of outer control, n=474). Th e rates of the reproductive system diseases in the main group, especially the rate of climacteric syndrome, were signifi cantly higher as compared with others groups (р=0,029 and р
Summary. Th e frequency and structure of the reproductive system diseases of the woman-workers, who occupied in nuclear industry and who were exposed to ionizing radiation over the small dose range (main group, n=424), were compared with analogous data, which were obtained from woman-workers, who were exposed to unhealthy chemical agents (group of inner control, n=556) and woman-workers who weren't exposed to hazardous industrial factors (group of outer control, n=474). Th e rates of the reproductive system diseases in the main group, especially the rate of climacteric syndrome, were signifi cantly higher as compared with others groups (р=0,029 and р<0,001 correspondingly). We have not revealed any dependence between the frequency of the reproductive system diseases and the level of total dose of external radiation
The aim of this study was to examine prevalence and structure of gynecologic pathology in female workers who work in Siberian chemical plant and who were exposed to continuous professional irradiation in ?small? dose range depending on time of starting and length of radiation exposure. In the women with gynecologic pathology who were exposed ionizing gamma radiation in ?small? dose range, duration of professional irradiation was significantly higher as compared with healthy women who were also exposed ionizing gamma radiation in the same ?small? dose range. Both early onset of radiation exposure and long-time radiation exposure were associated with increased risk of gynecologic pathology development.
The assessment of uterine leiomyoma development in female staff who is subjected to professional ionizing radiation of ?small? doses was performed. Frequency of uterine leyomyoma development in females who was subjected to professional ionizing irradiation was reliably higher than in females who was not subjected to such irradiation. It is concluded that uterine leiomyoma development risk is not dependent on the sum dose of external ?-irradiation in the range studied and on cumulated dosing frequency.
Study results of investigation of peripheral erythron component in patients with juvenile uterine bleedings. We found marked changes of metabolic and morphologic status of erythrocytes: decreased mean mass of their dry weight and increased number of their transformed and degenerative forms. Cytochemical studies registered decreased content of sulfa radicals and lipoproteins in cytomembranes of erythrocytes. The most marked change of peripheral erythron component was seen in yuvenile uterine bleedings which are ongoing in the setting of high plasma estrogen level.
This project reported results of clinical investigation of hard anemia treatment in patient with juvenile uterine bleeding. Anemia was treated by additional appointment of Anaferon detskiy, which contents antibodies to human's interferon-gamma. Evaluation of antianemic therapy efficiency was made comparing with traditional iron-drug therapy. It was proved that combined prescription «Anaferon detskiy» and iron-drag normalizes rate of humoral and cellular immunity and cytokines profile earlier than iron-drags monotherapy.
History of establishment, development and current status of one of the oldest chairs of the Siberian State medical University, chair of obstetrics and gynecology which marks by celebration its 115th anniversary is presented in the article.
The article presents the results of complex study of peripheral part of erythronum of 150 patients with pubertal metrorrhagia. It has been revealed that at pubertal metrorrhagia there are acute changes of metabolic and morphologic status of erythrocytes. In cytomembranes of erythrocytes we observed reduced content of sulfahydride groups and lipoproteins, decrease of average dry mass of erythrocytes, formation of latent iron deficiency. The study registered raised quantity of functionally defective transformed forms of erythrocytes on different stages of degeneration. The most significant disturbance of peripheral part of erythronum is registered at pubertal metrorrhagia on the background of hyperestrogenemia
Clinical study of the efficiency of Poetam (affinity-purified antibodies to recombinant human erythropoietin) in the treatment of anemia in patients with pubertal uterine hemorrhages proved that combined therapy with Poetam and iron preparation normalized erythron parameters, structural and metabolic status of erythrocytes, and ferrokinetic parameters of the peripheral blood sooner than monotherapy with Poetam or sorbifer.
