Relevance. Relationship with the Takata formation of diamond reservoir rocks and previously discovered deposits and the presence of prospects for discovering new ones in the zone of the forward folds of the Urals. Aim. To reconstruct the conditions of sedimentation and composition of rocks, the source of the removal of terrigenous rocks of the Takata formation based on the results of studying the "Yuzhnaya Rassolnaya" section. Objects. Terrigenous rocks of the Takata formation in the "Yuzhnaya Rassolnaya" section located in the western part of the alluvial diamond deposit "Yuzhnaya Rassolnaya" in the Krasnovishersky district of the Perm Territory. Methods. Lithofacies analysis, petrographic study of thin sections in transmitted light using crossed nicol methods, determination of the content of rock-forming oxides by X-ray fluorescence on an S8 Tiger (Bruker) spectrometer, analysis of rock-forming elements on glassy disks. Impurity and microimpurity elements (with a content of <5%) were determined using a certified method for defining elements by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry according to the method, STO TGU 048-2012. The analysis was performed by ICP-MS on an Agilent 7500cx quadrupole mass spectrometer (Agilent Technologies Inc., USA) using an internal (In Internal standard, Inorganic Ventures, USA) and an external standard SGD-2A (GSO 8670-2005). Results. Lithological-facial, mineralogical, petrographic, lithogeochemical studies of Takata terrigenous deposits were carried out in the "Yuzhnaya Rassolnaya" section in the area of the Polyudovo-Kolchima anticlinorium of the Western Ural folding zone, which made it possible to clarify the sources of matter and sedimentation conditions. The formation of sediments occurred in a transitional sedimentation environment. A transgressive sequence is observed from bottom to top. Terrigenous rocks of the Takata formation include rocks of the first and second sedimentation cycles. They were cut off due to the destruction of primary igneous (acidic and basic compositions) and metamorphic rocks, as well as sedimentary rocks. The totality of the material characteristics of the terrigenous rocks of the Takata formation, taking into account the published data, allowed us to assume that sedimentation of the rocks occurred on the passive continental margin, with the supply of clastic material due to the erosion of internal raised blocks of the foundation of the East European Platform. The activation of the latter occurred in the Emsian time with the manifestation of general lithospheric folding. At the same time, water flows carrying weathering products from the East European Platform eroded sedimentary rocks of the Riphean, Vendian, Ordovician and Silurian, which fragments we observe in small quantities when describing thin sections.
The lithologic-facial, mineralogical, petrographic, and lithogeochemical studies of Visean terrigenous sediments in the borehole section at the Bashkirian arch were carried out to clarify the sources of matter and sedimentation conditions. Terrigenous rocks of the Radayevsky and Bobrikovsky horizons are characterized by predominantly good sorting and pelletization of clastic material. A significant distance from the source of drifting is assumed. Terrigenous rocks of these horizons are sediments of the first and second sedimentation cycles. The rocks of the Tula horizon are characterized by average sorting and pelletization, which indicates the proximity of the drift source to the sedimentation basin. They are rocks of the first sedimentation cycle. The source of clastic material for the Radayevsky and Tula horizons was found to be rocks of acidic composition. For the beaver horizon, the acidic and the main source of drift was established. It is assumed that sedimentation of rocks occurred in coastal-marine conditions on the passive continental margin, with the inflow of clastic material from the inner parts of the East European Platform, due to overwashing of the early accumulated terrigenous rocks of the Devonian and Proterozoic, as well as destruction of the basement ledges, which were activated in the Early Visean time during the manifestation of folding. The presence of basic rocks in the Bobrikovsky horizon may indicate that the material came from the orogen.
The Evenki Formation of the Siberian Platform has been studied on the right bank of the Podkamennaya Tunguska River near the Sulomai settlement (Evenki municipal district of Krasnoyarsk krai). The structures and textures of the composing sediments are described. The main petrogenic oxides have been identified and the normative mineral composition has been determined following this identification. The increase of terrigenous components in the strata indicates periods of enhanced erosion in the provenance area (the Yenisei Ridge). In turn, the increased contribution of feldspars in the middle part of the section shows an intensification of physical weathering in arid conditions. The principal hypotheses of the origin of the Evenki Formation and other recent and ancient tidal flat and sabkha facies are outlined. We suggest that the studied facies of the Evenki Formation accumulated mostly under intertidal and, possibly in part, under lower supratidal conditions, which alternated depending on eustatic fluctuations in the basin. A conceptual model of the genesis of the Evenki Formation on the Siberian Platform has been developed.
The destruction of plant residues of floodplain vegetation in the aquatic environment was studied. The objects of study were three herbsspecies dominant in the Ob floodplain: Inula salicina, Calamagrostis purpurea and Carex atherodes. Dissolved organic matter (DOM), which plays a significant role in the aqueous environment, was studied carefully. As a result of the work, there was revealed the species specificity in the leaching processes of major elements, trace elements and organic matterfrom herbs. It has been established that the motley grasses samples are primarily affected by the destruction process. The growth of dissolved organic carbon, aromatic substances, condensed carbon fragments in the structure of DOC components in the studied waters was observed in the first fifty hours of the experiment, then the corresponding indicators decreased, probably due to the mineralization of organic substances.
Study of macro- and microelement composition of the ash of plant raw materials revealed the prevailing matrix elements, their chemical form and content. It is shown that direct determination of the impurities in mineral residues by the method of arc atomic emission spectroscopy with a multichannel analyzer of emission spectra (MAÉS) is complicated by the impact of the macro component and its chemical form on the intensity of the spectral lines of the impurities. Introduction of a corrective additive is proved to eliminate this effect. A technique for measuring the mass fraction of macro elements and trace elements in plant ash is proposed and metrological certification of the procedure is carried out.
The results of the analysis of the chemical elements composition in the herbage samples taken in meadow phytocenoses in the floodplain of the Bolshoy Yugan river (tributary of the Ob river in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra) are presented in connection with the flooding dynamics, weather conditions, and herbage composition. The study employed the method of mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma. It is shown that the height and duration of floods play a decisive role in the formation of the elemental composition of meadow herbage and the quantitative content of chemical elements.
The data on the quantitative content of macro- and microelements in dry plant samples of meadow plants (Vicia cracca, Lathyrus pratensis, Cirsium setosum, Tanacetum vulgare, Inula salicina, Elytrigia repens, Carex cespitosa) in the Middle Ob basin within Tomsk region were obtained. We stated that these plant species differ in their ability to accumulate various elements. We showed the quantitative difference in the chemical composition of leaves and stems of three species. We made the conclusion about the dependence of absorption of elements on the plant species and element specificity.
A modified procedure of preparing samples of medicinal herbs - hubs of trace elements - for spectral analysis is presented. The procedure consists in introduction of corrective additives into standard samples and can be taken as a basis of developing pharmacopoeial methods of arc atomic emission analysis of medicinal herbs.
