This article contains a review of the literature on the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and principles of therapy of pathological transformation of the heart in children-athletes. Results of own investigations of the peculiarities of creatine phosphate, L-carnitine and ubiquinone in children with abnormal heart sport was presented that has allowed to offer selection algorithm metabolic means in sports cardiology.
To study the antiarrhythmic activity of 3 hydroxy 6 methyl 2 ethylpyridine malatepatented as “Ethoxidol , experiments with the use of three following models of cardiac arrhythmias were carried out: catecholamine myocardial micronecroses in mice, Aconitine arrhythmias in mice, and acute occlusion and reperfusion arrhythmias in cats.
Monitoring of a group of 96 children with type I diabetes mellitus showed the positive effect of fast-acting insulin analog humalog on the long-term glycemic control and correction of metabolic disturbances in the vegetative nervous system and on the elimination of psychological problems. Additional prescription of the antioxidant drug mexidol promoted restoration of the cardiac rhythm variability, normalization of a daily structure of the heart rate, improvement of memory and attention and decreased the level of anxiety. The observations showed a decrease in the rate of formation of the diabetic cardiac neuropathy and a reduction of expressiveness of cerebroasthenic syndrome.
Researchers compared efficacy of the conventional therapy (oilment with non steriod anti-inflammatory medication, diclofena sodium and azithromycin) among children with reactive arthritis of Chlamydia etiology and treatment with introduction of gluccosaminilmuramildi peptide and desoxiribonucleate sodium immunomodulators. The article shows that application of immunomodulators in combination with the conventional therapy provided for the decrease of the articular syndrome intensity, reduced the need of the patients in local corticosteroids and conduced to the reduction of the lab process activity indices. Further more, they noticed reduced recurrence of the antibodies to Chlamydias and their titers in the blood serum, while general intensity of the antiinflammatory effects from the combined therapy, which included glucosaminilmuramildipeptide and desoxiribonucleate sodium immunomodulators along with the antibiotic, proved to be comparable.Key words: children, reactive arthritis, chlamydia infection, immunomodulators.

The authors analyzed NO-synthase expression in white mice exposed to chronic immobilization stress and receiving intraperitoneal 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate (EMHPS). Immune-hystochemical analysis of left ventricular myocardium was performed by standard method, with primary inducible NO-synthase isoform antibody use. Inducible isoform expression in cardiomyocytes exposed to EMHPS was significantly lower than in chronic immobilization stress without EMHPS administration.
Tests on calf coronary vessel cells (CVC) cultures showed that 3-oxi-6-methyl-2-ethylpiridine succinate (OMEPS) in dozes within 5.0-10.0 microg/ml did not decrease proliferation index, monolayer development, and viability factor. OMEPS also did not increase cytotoxicity index and did not change cytomorphological characteristics of the culture. In a concentration of 100 microg/ml, OMEPS exhibited some cytotoxyc properties, but to a lower degree compared to the reference antiarrhythmic drug moricisine (1.0-20.0 microg/ml). However, OMEPS (2.5 microg/ml) reduced the cytotoxicity moricisine introduced into CVC culture in a doze of 1.0 microg/ml.
The comparative study of efficiency of dimephosphone (50100 mg/kg/day intravenously in dropper) cytochrome c (0,5 mg/kg/day intravenously in dropper) and the standard treatment scheme in 121 children with sinus node weakness syndrome is carried out. It is shown that monotherapy with dimephosphone made it possible to reach the therapeutic effect in children with the I clinicoelectrocardiographic continuation of the disease. In the II and III types the addition of dimephosphone to the standard scheme increased its efficiency by 2730%. The validity of continuation the neurometablic therapy with sinus node weakness syndrome during half a year and pe forming three courses of treatment with the drug at the interval of three months is shown.
